As I do with a lot of the creators I watch I don't always watch your videos as soon as you post them but I do try to watch everyone of them. I am subscribed;
I had an idea for that cart as a somewhat improved engine stand. Bolt a piece or pieces of plywood underneath the tray to reinforce it, maybe 5/8 or 3/4 - whatever you can scrounge, then drill engine mounting holes as and where you need them. Have another thinner piece of plywood cut, finished and painted to fit fairly snugly inside the tray for most of the time to do other work when you’re not actually running an engine so you’re not losing parts or fluids through the mounting holes underneath. Or a piece of sheet metal off a discarded washer, drier, etc.
She’s a runner! Good one, JD! Since you got it up to this point, I’d probably list it on FBMP while you wait for a likely project to put it into. Either way, it’s $ in the bank! 🔧👍
I always enjoy your videos Hester, your banter is second only to Eric from South Main Auto. Way back in the mid 70's when my dad and oldest brother both worked at a big open pit iron ore mine called Sherman Mine in Temagami Ontario Canada they worked with a couple of brothers from Germany who were gifted welders. I remember my brother needed a gas tank welded/braised, (I forget) but the brothers hooked a flexible rubber hose up from a truck exhaust to the filler hole in the gas tank and did the welding (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, I am going on memory here, ask a welder before attempting this). Anyway, I was just wondering if blowing air through this muffler while welding thin metal may help to keep it cooled down so it doesn't keep blowing through. Your thoughts and also comments from welders would be cool.
Thank you! I'm a big fan of Eric! And that actually makes a lot of sense to me as far as keeping the metal cool by blowing air into it. I wonder what a professional welder would think 👍🏻
Goats love those leaves 😊. You need a dozen for sure 😮
I would love to buy a couple of goats! Don't let my wife hear you though 😂👍🏻
This gives me hope for the two freebie engines I’ve had sitting under the cedar tree the past couple of years, especially the Honda! 👍🙏🔧
Loved the gotta lube the cylinders first crack I was cracking up. Love the channel Happy Holidays !!
Ain't nobody got time for that 😂😂👍🏻
That's going to be a great engine for future use. Hope you reach 4k subs, and then some by Christmas. You deserve way more!
Thank you very much! Here's hoping 🤞

Thank you very much! 👍🏻
There’s a go kart or mini bike frame that is just dying for this sweet motor! 😃👍🇺🇸
Agreed! That would be awesome!
Cool vintage Marlboro wall clock. Of course, not as cool as getting the engine running. Another great video.
Thank you! Nice attention to detail as well, could you believe someone was throwing that away? I plugged it in and it still works too!

Yea I've played around with that idea myself, just hasn't been enough of a need to get myself to do it lol
