As a 47 year old man it amazes me how I long to be in my youth again visiting family in old houses like these. These houses represent in a way how people fade out of our lives as we grow old. Spent my whole youth dreaming of being older and on my own. Now I dream of going back to my youth. Thanks donnie I’m thankful to still be here
@unclemonster48, oh how I wish I could go back in time and visit Grandma and Grandpa's old home place again, like you I couldn't wait to grow up and move out that holler...now here I am, wishing I could go back to the times of my youth, plowing a garden with my Grandpa and an ole mule named kate !! Definitely a better place and time, well at least in my memories !!! Well you have a good day Sir, appreciate you lettin me jabber on a bit, may God bless you my friend !!!
Me too. All the memories, mysteries, hopes, dreams all fading into history. I wish they could be preserved, retaining all the original materials and architecture as best as can be.
Me too. Thank you Mr Donnie for taking the time to show us these old pieces of history. There are more of these places than we know. I remember some of the abandoned home places and how sad they seemed.
I grew up in WV and like you said all the old homesteads are falling down or being torn down. So sad seems childhood is disappearing before our eyes. We were poor but happy.
These beautiful old homes should be preserved as part of US heritage. Sad to see them left to rot and crumble. The world today is a far less healthy and happy place than times gone by. Too much greed, entitlement and debauchery. Very sad indeed. Thank you for documenting these before they are truly gone.
I would love to see more of these old buildings. They’re going away so fast, breaks my heart. Just to remember playing in the barn loft when it was 100* degrees outside. That old hay in the loft was so scratchy and I’d climb up and down the ladder all day when I could. I’d run through the fields barefoot and step in cow poop. I can still remember that awful feeling but I’d give all the money in the world to go back to those times. I’d climb trees so high when I was barely 5-6 years old. Could barely reach that first limb to pull myself up. Went back years later as an adult and looked up that old tree just for the memories. In the end that’s all we have is the memory or the feeling of a place. It’s like Christmas, it’s in your heart. No amount of money could buy memories. Most of the old houses we grew up in are gone, siblings and mom and dad are gone. I still keep the old outhouse at our house even though we don’t use it anymore. It’s a memory. Fighting off the wasp and yellow jackets to use it for a minute. Funny times. What a wonderful childhood I had thanks to awesome people keeping me grounded and God fearing and loving life itself. Thanks for the memories DL ❤
Beautifully and poignantly written. I just feel that you're a good person. So lifelike, I felt I was there with you, but luckily I have similar memories. Safe, fun, wholesome. Enjoy your day. 🌞
Memories like these will be forever etched like canvas pictures in our hearts and mind . Thank you Donnie for keeping places like these alive through your videos. May God bless.
I'm from Appalachian areas of Ky. However, I had a grandmother who lived outside Versailles Indiana. We made trips to visit that area often. I recall a spring that ran out of a spicket along the way . Dad would cup his hands and give us children a nice cold drink of water on the way. There were also wild flowers "Sweet Williams". Think they are all gone today. Mamaw lived on a farm in a small town called Benam. She came from Clay County Ky and wound up there living with my dad's brother and sister and spouses. I was 3 to 6 years. It was a long trip from Clay County KY. We packed a picnic and pull off Route 25 in Ky go through Cincinnati and onto route 50 into My Indiana. I came to Cincinnati to live in my younger years. Dad ran moonshine into the tri state of Ohio Kentucky and Indiana.
Hey Donnie I remember when a dog was thought to be a ( mad ) dog. That's a dog with rabies. It was loose in my aunt's area of southern Knox County. I remember her telling me " if you see Hit kill Hit!" !!! Hit was used in place of IT. Some other country words were Hey meaning hello and put your groceries in my buggy. Meaning a shopping cart. 🤣
Once in awhile I like to take a ride down the old country roads here. I love to see the old houses, cabins and barns. But on the other hand it's sad. I think about the folks who once had lived there. That old house, cabin was once someone's hopes and dreams. Thank you for documenting these old places. You're right, nothing stands forever. Perhaps we all should reflect on that. What are we building on in our lives? " The grass will whither and the flowers may fall, but the Word of our God lasts forever." God bless you Mr.Laws. Prayers for you and yours 🙏
My great grandparents used to refer to the “old home place.” I really appreciate your channel. It warms my spirit. Thank you for keeping these good ole days alive, Donnie.
Made me feel like crying listening to you and seeing pictures of these old homes and barns. I see them here too in west Tennessee. I think about the families and wondering what happened to them and what it was like living there. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us these places.
My aunt has a horse farm in South Carolina. When I was a kid there was an old barn that was falling down and we were warned not to play in it. I went back recently and it’s still there. Thanks Mr. Donnie for always helping me remember the best times. God bless you!
Yes, the oletimers knew when to fall or drop the tree, when to Make the lumber, by the signs! So no wonder these have lasted so long. People worked hard, like you said, sunup to sundown, building, animals, gardening, canning, preparing for winter, cutting wood to stay warm, spinning wool for clothes for the usually large number of children they had, no birth control in those days. But the whole family worked together to keep life going. School was not so mandatory then as many particularly boys had to stay home & work the farm. Girls helped their mothers with cooking, washing, & tending to younger siblings. I guess it reminds me of the TV show ,the Waltons, big family living on a mountain that they owned. 3 generations, all there for each other. Back then, land was cheap, compared to today, but our dollar was different. But they still struggled to pay a debt because it was a lot of money to them.Deals were made on a handshake, as a man or woman's word was considered bond or honest. Should be always! Money was really scarce tho overall in those days till factories came along & people got " public " jobs, outside the home or farm. Funny to me now, being over 70yrs old, that people thought back then that a " job" was going to better the family. I think that's why a lot of divorce came about & women had to get jobs to raise children. Progress ? No.not for mankind, for the big heads pockets, like wars, another story. I'm like you, I miss these old places as they're becoming less & less. I'm familiar with some places you've shown. When a child, I can remember 3 Lil grocery store in Sevier Cty, plus the rolling store which was a treat just to see what they had in it. A nickel went a long way then but that wasn't very often for a coke or candy bar. One store is still standing today but it was built better vs the other two. But I have them tucked in my memories, forever. I would be happy in that time as you, my finest memories are of the river for picnics in Pittman Center, my Mom had lived there as a child. I can still feel the coolness of the air & smell the fishy water.Been a private place for years, I do not blame them one bit. That is my happy, my escape, like you, for the sound of rushing water over rocks that have been here for many Generations, if rocks could talk. The Flintrock is a special place, the now covered bridge.Another time ! Such blessings we have. I enjoy your stories so much & thankyou. Be blessed 🙌
Donnie at 76 it sure makes me yearn for the old days ,it’s almost too sad to watch .The old places are gone mostly forgotten by the younger generations. Thank you for giving us a peek at how it used to be .😢😕❤
I always go the back roads. I don’t like the crazy drivers. Thank you for this the home at the beginning reminded me of my great grandma and great grandpas home. They had such a big farm. We always went to help. That’s how I learned how to can. This brought great memories and tears. My son loves my home it’s old and it will go to him. He promised me he will never sell it and keep it in the family. He loves the home as much as I do. They sure were built better back then. My home is 140 year old farm home. When I bought mine I restored it to it’s glory.
There's no peace of mind anymore. Regardless whether people have a lot materialistically or not, they aren't happy. These families were close. They lived remotely so they were each other's lives. No cell phones, tv, computers, or even electricity. A newspaper or maybe a battery operated radio. But they had a relationship with nature and the rural little world around them that rarely exist's today. Because they depended on it for their very lives. Thank you so much Donnie for documenting as much of this as you can!
Another heart-warming video, brother Donnie! I never pass any of these old run-down homes without thinking about the laughter and tears they experienced. As a share-cropper's son, I lived in many homes like these, and only one of the houses I lived in as a boy is still standing. Thankfully, it's still being cared for. As always on friday, I wish you and yours Shabbat Shalom, my brother. May our loving L-rd bless and keep you all! ❤
It saddens my heart to see such a beautiful piece of our history just crumble & fade away. Thank you Donnie for keeping & sharing such long forgotten places for us to remember 🥰 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
I ENJOY EVERY VIDEOS YOU HAVE MADE, here on this channel.👍. We Have Alot in Common. ALOT.🌟. I SO LOVE, HIKING THE WOODS , EXPLORING, FISHING OLD PONDS, CLIMBING TREES, SITTING IN THE LONELY OLD WOODS, RELAXING, TAKING IN THE SIGHTS, SOUNDS, N SMELLS. Just Me, n Mother Nature. Ohio Has SO MANY OLD PONDS, (some forgotten:-) To Me, Nothing is Betterr Than, Fishing ALL DAY BACK IN THE WOODS OF OHIO. ITS VERY PEACEFUL. 👍
I LOVE THE GREAT OUTDOORS. TO GO WAY BACK IN THE WOODS AND SIT ON A OLD LOG, COVERED WITH GREEN MOSS, ( I Call That, Gods Carpet.) Its So Soft.👍. Sitting There, I look Around, listening to The Wind n Taking in the sights. It's So Quite, in Places, You Can Hear, The Plants, Growing. What's NOT To Love?
Thank you from Scotland. Very interesting. Yes the old is passing away........however for us Born Again believers in The Lord, the best is yet to come......Be Blessed and look ahead
Couldn't I agree with you more? Donnie, I could spend a lot of time by that stream. If today's kids do that, they can clear that mind out and think a little bit clearer.
It’s why stream fishing is my favorite pastime. Catching fish is a bonus but the serenity , beauty, and soft water sound bubbling over the rocks is my escape from it all
What some amazing history Donnie! Sad how it's going away day by day. If them ole house's, Barns and railroad tracks could talk. God bless you my brother
Please keep your wonderful videos full of Americana coming. So very sad that we live in a time of destroy rather than upgrade or preserve history. At least with these beautiful videos you do, some of Americana will be archived. Several old home places I drive by, sometimes I will stop when its safe, and just gaze upon these old home places and imagine children running and playing and ladies sitting on the porches shelling peas and a clothesline full of freshly washed clothes blowing in the wind. Thank you for keeping history alive.
Oh Mr Laws! Bless your heart for making these “memories videos” of days gone by! I just love watching every one of your videos because I can remember the one room schoolhouse I went to. And the old country churches too. When I was young, I was raised on a farm and not too far down the road was a “mom & pop” combination grocery store & gas station(we called them “fillin stations” back then! Lol). I’m like you, I would love to go into these places…..it would be like stepping back in time! Blessings always sir! ❤️✝️
Lots & lots of those places here in the shenandoah Valley, lots of disappearing history, thank you for your wonderful videos Mr Donnie, God bless you sir
My moms side of the family has so many beautiful homes falling down and abandoned in Wideners Valley. Breaks my heart. Just imagine the love, laughter and hard work that were in them.
Memories become reminders of what's gone and can't come back. Videos like this break my heart because I see it every day. More and more subdivisions and tiny home communities. It's like losing a loved one.
The beauty of the old house’s Church’s are in the eyes of people who look with their heart. Thank you for the videos I can afford to go out to see them .God bless.
What a stroll down memory lane. There were many, many places like that here in SW Indiana when I was a kid. If someone had a car,us kids would pile in and go exploring. We loved going to these old places and walking around the property,”exploring”. We found old dishes, old bottles, lots of things. We left them where we found them, after we all touched them and imagining how these folks lived. My great-great grandmother’s home was just over a hill from my great grandmother’s place. I loved going there. My great grandmother passed away when I was 3 years old. By the time I was a teenager, both places were abandoned.Sadly. May God Bless and keep you and yours Mr. Donnie!!! You have a blessed weekend!! P.S. My younger brother and his wife opted before marriage to not have children. They both have worked very hard in high end jobs and have done well. About 15 years ago they bought 100 acres of farm land and a beautiful home that was built in the 1950’s. They were going to retire there. The wife turned up her “born rich and staying that way”nose and said,”of course we’ll tear that house down and build a new one. Sometimes you’ve just got to grit your teeth…. We are no longer close, he met her in Savanna Georgia while he was still in the army. They married and settled in Atlanta and made their lives away from family. I was so happy that they bought that property, because it was only 3 hours from me. I found out a couple of years ago that they had sold that place. I am speculating that they got a ton of money for it. All of the out of state people are buying all of Tennessee,Florida and a couple more states. Unfortunately, they bring their “ways” with them.😡 They come in and offer a million dollars over asking price. Then they whine about guns and other things. I need to get down off of my soap box now….
Thank you again. This was so pretty and I know what its like to be living as a family and visiting in a home setting off the beaten paths. I always took back roads driving when ever I was able to go back home to visit. Beautiful country and some homes such as these pictures, and may return and seeing them slowy alling back into nature and then a part of it gone all except for a slab or clearing. Some redone or demolished and rebuilt, and a few kept up and efforts to restore. The older ones were built using resources of the land they were built on for most part - lovely homes. And Homes in the truer sense of the word. Home meaning a home, our homes. It was a good life in these homes. The work was hard and all day. I was young but I know my Grandparents worked hard all day long and got up very early. The pace was so much healthier and better too. I believe people had better values and pulled together naturally. This country has my heart life long. ❤
That quilted looking design piece on that barn that blew down needs to be saved! Oh how I would love that. The art and beauty and energy is just amazing.
@@donnielaws7020I’m going to have to make something with it, like paint a box or ornament with the design from a screen shot. I’ll change it a bit to make my own, but it really inspires me. It really shows the joy in the midst of struggle. ❤
Thanks Donnie! One of your best videos yet!! All we have are memories and us old guys have a lot of them. It reminds me of our old farm house, built in 1903. My Dad worked real hard and fixed it up, but my sister and I had to sell it as we got older. But... memories!!
Thank you for showing us these beautiful old places. I look at them and imagine people being born there. I also think about who may have died there. Those houses have a way of making us think about past days
I love seeing those places and when I do see them restored to there grand old day. I always love to go check them out. Around in this area of Ga. We do have alot these old biulds restored and used. It makes proud that they are still used to this day. God bless you and your whole family...🙏❤🙏❤🙏
How I miss the old places and past times of my life. I'm 70 years old and my daddy's family lived on a farm in Rockwood Tennessee ...the beauty of the area still remains and my soul can hear the voices of the past as I walk in and by the beautiful Ozone Falls.
I try to imagine what time of day the picture was taken and then just go back from there...if it's morning time you can almost see and hear the children a gettin ready for school, you can almost smell the biscuits and gravy being made on an old wood burning stove! The slammin screen door that was ever present on these old Appalachian homes, I remember some tough times but, Lord we was happy...had everything we ever needed, something to eat, someplace to sleep, and loved ones close by...gotta say you made this ole hillbilly shed a tear or two, on this wonderful trip down memory lane !! Thank you Mr. Donnie for this video, may God bless you Sir !!
It used to infuriate my Grandpa when he would see abandoned barns and silos. He was born and raised at our farm (received a Centennial Farm status in 1994 and yes, it is still in our family) and knew how much work it took to build a farm. It would break his heart to see the farms just fade away, fall down and be reclaimed by the land itself. He would occasionally ruminate on what had happened to the families who worked so hard to make the farms work. Thank you so much for your videos, Mr. Laws - bittersweet memories, and some can cause a tear to the eyes - but I wouldn't trade my life on the farm for anything. The values and morals that make up my character, were learned from my grandparents. I love and miss them so much - but I can still see and feel them when I go home - another pain to the heart, but I am so thankful that I can still go to our farm. Bless you, and am looking forward to your next video. 🥲🤗🥰💖💖💖
Such beautiful places. It is so sad they are disappearing. Such simpler times. All of my families barns and structures have been torn down, but we will always have the memories. Thanks for sharing.
Ive got precious memories of our old home place. I would give anything to go back to those wonderful wonderful days. Love your videos Some bring tears to my eyes
When I see the old homes, my mind goes to the holidays that took place there Christmas with the smell of food cooking, Christmas tree, and kids opening presents. I wonder what happened to the families that lived and loved there. Thank you for sharing these wonderful places with us Mr.Laws. God bless you, my friend.
Nothing Man assemble's out of what God has made will stand forever....But the true love God has given...that manifest through Man will forever stand in our Hearts (Soul) Amen... Love one another. Thanks 😎 Sir.... I can tell Love is in your soul.
Hello from KY love your channel ❤️.Donnie you have done a great job preserving in photos what meant so much to so many of us.I also miss the barns advertising as you go down the highway. What stories these buildings could tell. The general store you can picture folks outside playing checkers.Just watching all the comings and goings. Thanks for this video.Stay cool it is so hot right now 98 .❤
Thanks for documenting this precious history, and helping us to remember these places and times... We surely were a better country then... God bless 🙋💕
I absolutely love exploring old houses and barns. My heart always feels sad at the places that are falling down. My love for history is very strong. I imagine what it was like to live there. You have much more thru Appalachia. Our material used is lots of field stone, and we do have lots of 1 room schoolhouses left. Thanks Donnie for a great video.✌️❤️✨
I enjoy these videos so much. My heart yearns for the old days, even though I was born in 1955. My favorite Era is the 1800s. I think I was born a little late
Wanted to take a minute and also thank the people that allow you on there land to let us see there beautiful property. So thank you land owners for letting Mr laws show up what is so very important.
I enjoy looking at old buildings, thinking how the people who may have lived there, and old cemeteries I enjoy looking at Thanks for sharing Mr. Donnie
I just LOVE these old places to Mr. Donnie.....Me and my husband just got back from a two week vacation in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and we took every single back road we could find and explored all the forgotten homes and churches and old Country Stores we could find I JUST LOVE THEM SO even though it is sad of times gone by but I try and remind myself it's some of our time gone by History and what's still standing is SO BEAUTIFUL 💙
thank's for these cool old houses. When i was a young lad, in 1973. I would go with my folks from 7a north from easthampton, mass to bennington , vt to my grandmother's house. On sunny fall days, i would look out the car window, and see what you are showing now. I saw a lot of old country houses abandoned, motels, gas stations.
I'm 51 years old grew up in Kentucky my papa's from Corbin Kentucky and I grew up in there and and being in the mountains and I miss old places I guess I miss him thanks Donny for what you do😊
I do like these videos on old structures. Reminds me a lot of my home in the Appalachian mountains of PA. Which I just came back from visiting for a couple of weeks seeing family and friends, so I have been catching up on all of your videos all afternoon.😊 Thanks for the mtn videos. God bless.
Sir, I'm 72 yrs young and your so right. I appreciate you puttin up this site there's so many like this here in Virginia. I growed up in a big old farm house like those pictured here. Brings back a lot of memories.
The truly amazing thing that strikes me every time I see the beautiful detail in these old structures, is when I consider that the family (sometimes with the help of neighbors) built their own home. No power tools, sometimes reclaimed lumber, nails, etc. In this day and age, its almost unusual to find someone that knows which end of the hammer to hold. Times have indeed changed. I always stop and make photos of old barns and homes, knowing that perhaps the very next week, it could be gone. Always saddens me when I see the 2-story homes with all the attention to detail, falling to ruin. You just can't get it back and it is never replicated in this day and age of quick and cheap.
Good Mornin Mr Laws brings back memories of my Popaws house that his Daddy left him and my great uncle.....they used itfor a hunting camp...its falling down now, the cemetery overlooks the house where Momma is buried so she can see it...have a blessed day dear friend ❤🤗🤗❤
Thank you so much ! Love hearing and seeing history that you show. Love hearing from older generations. You can learn so much from them. God bless you and your channel
I moved to northwestern NC after living at the coast for 35 years . I love it - and it kills me to see these beautiful old houses and barns just falling in . Thank you for showing these .
I love the see the abandoned places. If we don’t get some kind of record of them they will disappear and be forgotten. I wish I knew the history of all the old places. As I go by the sad old abandoned homes I think how they were once happy places filled with big families.
You voice my thoughts when I see places like this. Spent all my life in West Virginia, and these old places are everywhere. Hard, hard work built this state and this country. Thank you for making this video. This is the first time I have seen your channel.
Reminds me of when I was a small child . Back then here in our part of the country there were no McDonalds , no KFC , Hardys and so on . While on the road traveling if you wanted to eat , it would be necessary to stop at one of these old stores for a pound or so of baloney , a few tomatoes , onions , letice , or whatever . We would then just stop on the side of the road , usually some place in the shade , and have a feast LOL . Back then these old stores were a valuable necessity . Simpler times back then , a time when our country still had moral values . Great video Donnie , keep um coming .
Breaks my heart to see these beautiful places disappear. You can find them everywhere in North Dakota too. So much hard work and struggle, joy and sadness.

Awesome memories my friend. God bless you.
Maybe that's why when we were kids, the adults told us to be careful what we wish for. ....
Makes me sad to see these beautiful old buildings dying.
Me to my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Me too. All the memories, mysteries, hopes, dreams all fading into history. I wish they could be preserved, retaining all the original materials and architecture as best as can be.

Good morning my friend. Thanks so much. God bless you.
I love the old places, so much character! I wish more could be brought back to life instead of tearing them down...
Some are my friend, but most are not. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Love this.
I love the old farm homes and barn's I wish I was a millionaire I would bring as many I could to there former glory. Thanks for sharing 👍♥️🗝️🇺🇸😊
That would be nice my friend. Thanks so much for sharing this. Your very welcome.
Sadly a million dollars won't go very far with the prices of things today.
Mr. Donnie, thank you for documenting this history. Can’t help but think of the families who once lived there.

Thank you for giving us a peek at how it used to be .😢😕❤
It does me to my friend. I surely understand. It's so sad. Thanks for sharing. God bless. Your very welcome.
G'day Donnie, thankyou, excellent mate ,💯👍🇦🇺
Hello friend. God bless you.
That's so awesome my friend. God bless you. Thanks so much for sharing your memories. Thank you.
So true my friend. God bless you for sharing this. Thank you. Your very welcome.
Awesome my friend. Thanks for sharing this. God bless you. Your very welcome.
It saddens my heart to see such a beautiful piece of our history just crumble & fade away.
Thank you Donnie for keeping & sharing such long forgotten places for us to remember 🥰
👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Thank you truly Donnie for eternalizing our culture, God bless you
Your very welcome my friend.

Amen my friend. Thanks for sharing this.
Couldn't I agree with you more? Donnie, I could spend a lot of time by that stream. If today's kids do that, they can clear that mind out and think a little bit clearer.
Thanks for sharing this my friend. Troubled times for sure.
It’s why stream fishing is my favorite pastime. Catching fish is a bonus but the serenity , beauty, and soft water sound bubbling over the rocks is my escape from it all
Awesome my friend.
What some amazing history Donnie! Sad how it's going away day by day. If them ole house's, Barns and railroad tracks could talk. God bless you my brother
Thank you so much my brother for sharing this. Thank you. Stay cool out there. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this my friend. God bless you. Your very welcome.
I love these old buildings they have a lot of history 🤗🥰🙏🏿
Amen my friend. I love the old places of of our youth. God bless you. Thanks for sharing this. Your very welcome.
Time flows in a beautiful yet painful ways as seeing these old sights makes my heart ache for a simpler time
I understand my friend. Thanks for sharing this.
Lots & lots of those places here in the shenandoah Valley, lots of disappearing history, thank you for your wonderful videos Mr Donnie, God bless you sir
Your very welcome my friend. God bless you.
My moms side of the family has so many beautiful homes falling down and abandoned in Wideners Valley. Breaks my heart. Just imagine the love, laughter and hard work that were in them.
WOW Thanks for sharing this my friend. God bless you.
Memories become reminders of what's gone and can't come back. Videos like this break my heart because I see it every day. More and more subdivisions and tiny home communities. It's like losing a loved one.
I understand my friend. God bless you.
Unfortunately, they bring their “ways” with them.😡
They come in and offer a million dollars over asking price. Then they whine about guns and other things. I need to get down off of my soap box now….
WOW Thanks for sharing your memories with us my friend. God bless you. Thank you.
God bless you my friend. Thanks so much for sharing this.
That quilted looking design piece on that barn that blew down needs to be saved! Oh how I would love that. The art and beauty and energy is just amazing.
I was told it was my friend. The barn is completely gone now. Thanks for sharing this my friend.
@@donnielaws7020I’m going to have to make something with it, like paint a box or ornament with the design from a screen shot. I’ll change it a bit to make my own, but it really inspires me. It really shows the joy in the midst of struggle. ❤
@1-41 top middle Donnie, awesome.👍👣💯
Your very welcome my friend.

How I miss the old places and past times of my life. I'm 70 years old and my daddy's family lived on a farm in Rockwood Tennessee ...the beauty of the area still remains and my soul can hear the voices of the past as I walk in and by the beautiful Ozone Falls.
I understand that my friend. God bless you. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful Memories. I thank you for sharing with us Donnie Laws
Awesome my friend. Great memories. God bless you. Thanks for sharing. Your very welcome.
WOW Thanks so much for sharing your memories my friend. God bless you.
Such beautiful places. It is so sad they are disappearing. Such simpler times. All of my families barns and structures have been torn down, but we will always have the memories. Thanks for sharing.

I think I was born a little late

thank's for these cool old houses. When i was a young lad, in 1973. I would go with my folks from 7a north from easthampton, mass to bennington , vt to my grandmother's house. On sunny fall days, i would look out the car window, and see what you are showing now. I saw a lot of old country houses abandoned, motels, gas stations.
WOW Thanks for sharing this my friend.

Sir, I'm 72 yrs young and your so right. I appreciate you puttin up this site there's so many like this here in Virginia. I growed up in a big old farm house like those pictured here. Brings back a lot of memories.
Awesome my friend. Thanks for sharing this.
That's so true my friend. They were gifted craftsman in them days. Thanks for sharing this.
Please keep them coming I love them Thank You for sharing them with us
Thank you friend. Your very welcome.

I love the see the abandoned places. If we don’t get some kind of record of them they will disappear and be forgotten. I wish I knew the history of all the old places. As I go by the sad old abandoned homes I think how they were once happy places filled with big families.
Awesome my friend. Thanks for sharing this.
You voice my thoughts when I see places like this. Spent all my life in West Virginia, and these old places are everywhere. Hard, hard work built this state and this country. Thank you for making this video. This is the first time I have seen your channel.
Your very welcome my friend. Thanks for sharing this. God bless you.
With this crazy world today watching your videos and taking a walk thru time is such a sad thing but brings back wonderful memories . Thank you
I do understand that my friend. God bless you. Your very welcome.
I'm like you Donnie. I'm old school and an old soul. I love these old places too.
