I Love how the ologs on this game are portrayed as religious zelots. Az-Adar is talking this task of killing his own brother as some kind of test of his Faith.
It makes sense, as in the books it’s mentioned that Ologs were so intelligent, compared to other types of trolls, that it was mistakenly believed that they were giant orcs.

How do you manage to get both blood brothers? From what I heard from other players, the brother that you dominated will turn on you when you try to dominate the other blood brother.
@@williamsantamaria2813 Not necessarily but even if you dominate both brothers, there's still a chance that one of them attacks you for revenge, claiming that you killed his brother even tho you just dominated him.
Did you know that each blood brother duel has two different versions? All you need to do is once the fight starts you just get to your dominated brother and send him away from the fight then have him get into another duel with his blood brother again and you should get a slightly different dialogue. Noticed that you only had one for each. :) I love this idea of blood brothers dueling as its own video series!
The Middle-earth series while being good as hell mind you does violate/change a lot of stuff in the entire Tolkien Legendarium (canon). Stuff like Celebrimbor being stuck in the Wraith World and actually helped Sauron in crafting the One Ring is entirely tailor made for the game's overall story. In actual canon, Celebrimbor was defeated by Sauron and killed. Also, he is never alluded to having any sort of family be it a spouse or child. (Taken from the LOTR wiki.) TLDR: It's non-canon because it's not written by Tolkien himself and is only based off of his works.
While Orcs hate each other, they also realize that all they have are each other. In Return of the King, Gorbag and Shagrat plan on sneaking off from Mordor with some trusty worthy minions. They were afraid of the possibility of Sauron falling and hated their masters even more than each other. However, they turned on each other over the Mithril shirt they found on Frodo. Allegedly, near the end of his life Tolkien felt uncomfortable with how he portrayed Orcs as completely evil.

It's in the name. Blood Brothers may not be directly tied, but they're so connected or kin-like that they might as well be. It's weird, but you might also say that they could cut their palm and grasp them together as a way of making a 'blood bond'.

Yeah whats even sadder today i conquered a fortress at a cost i recruited 2 orcs who were blood brothers i sent one in as a spy he got found out and well i took his brother with me to the field the overlord killed my spy one of my orcs blood brothers infront of him i felt so bad for the orc that lost his brother
@@garysmithfan1432 dude I’d be so sad I made one war troll a overlord and had his orc blood brother as his body guards and so far they are both very happy. I call them the curse bother cause they both have cursed weapons and a gang of war trolls with them
I once thought it cruel too, until a blood brother betrayed both his blood brother AND ME by cutting his throat was trying to kill me. I saved the blood brother and had the two of them fight it out.
Part of me feels bad for doing this, but then I remember the time that my guy was about to die so I shot his Brother once to stagger him, let my guys poison kill the brother and then a split second later he turned on me…. So I lead him into his dead brothers poison mine and let the other brother die to the green snot…. What was strange was that he blamed me for killing his brother but in reality I probably only did 1% of the damage
I always let them dual but never kill. If I had the levels I will recruit them into my army. Don't want my Orc Captain who has a blood brother betrays me.

I like the contrast between ologs, some are religious towards the Dark Lord, others yell incoherences at you.

I had something like that... once. But details are fuzzy... I’ve killed many, many orcs
