Does knowing better english has anything to do with sitting on the back of the classroom . Btw neither one of them is good at english im talking about being able to sound like a native.
I don't understand why people who teach spoken English try to emphasize Grammar when most people use English or any other language to communicate they can't be grammatically correct all the time. Somehow maybe that is the reason why most people are afraid of speaking English in front of others. In the last; dear little girl, I like your videos very much and I adore you but don't laugh at anyone's mistake. I hope you positively take this note.
Well grammatically correct is not the actual thing.. But actually it's about knowing what's the right & wrong thing But yes bullying or making fun of others who can't speak English properly that is really demeaning & illogical & shows how cheap your mind is that your general instinct is to criticize others & when you don't find reasons to criticise, you start commenting on these silly things
I am good in English means you are probably good in the subject or in the English class .. I am good at English implies you are skilled and good at speaking too... Both the usages exist but depends on the context too
Just because people use it all the time, doesn't make it automatically correct. Many people use 'mereko khana chahiye' which is obviously incorrect and sounds cheap and illiterate. Does that automatically make it correct? Same way, using Myself, *name* sounds cheap and incorrect.
I'm a student of hindi midium school.. But I can speak well.(And I've learnt it by myself) We don't even have an English teacher cuz that is a govt. School where i study.😶 You guys are so lucky bcz you have a good environment and good schools. I lost my whole school life in a small school where we don't even have playground.it is boring as hell and I'm going to waste my last year of school.it is my 12th class now. Sorry guys if I've made mistakes while typing.
It's correct bur we're nit a famous celebrity, right? It's shows that we've attitude on ourselves that we're the best It's correct but this is saanvi, my name is saanvi and I'm saanvi sounds more appropriate according to people
i want to point this out as informal or spoken english and not as a completely incorrect english the language eventually forms us and not the other way around if the majority of people in a region tend to speak like that it cant be considered a mistake i must be seen as a variation
As a native the "more" followed by a word with an er suffix is one of my pet peeves. Especially more better. Try using "even better" or "much better" :)
To everyone who's saying that even the 'incorrect grammar' gets the point across and shouldn't be corrected: First of all, why are you here? If you are okay with your subpar English, why watch this entire video and then make fun of them for trying to educate people? You're a hypocrite. Second of all, correct English does make a difference. It makes you seem smarter and more fluent. I'll even give an example in your beloved Hindi: Someone saying 'Mereko bhook lagi hai,' is not the same as saying 'Mujhe bhook lagi hai,'. Both the sentences mean the same thing, you can easily understand what I'm trying to say, but does it have the same effect? The first sentence makes you sound chapri and uneducated, while the second sentence makes you sound fluent in the language. It's the same with English.
No dear that will make it past tense what if she is talking about everyday? We can't say i left home at 7 about everyday whereas if we talk about everyday we for sure can say i leave home at 7 o clock. Also u r not wrong but not the correct explanation for last one wrong ones
I was able to speak such basic nd easy English when I was in grade 2 I'm not doing show off I just wanna tell that we don't need a specific age to learn new things It's good but less overacting will work

someone would tell me what's the mistake here( i leave from home at 7) :from: is telling that you are leaving from a specific place and i know that if you are saying this sentence ( i leave home at 7) it's correct because it's understood that you are leaving from your house but if i am using this sentence ( i leave from home at 7) here you are adding 'from' because you want to emphasize it,, yes i am leaving from home, from my house. so both sentence are correct, if someone said(i leave from home at 7) then don't say that it's wrong sentence ( languages are made for people to understand, not for correcting their sentences even though you got the point

Right... Usually we don't speak our native language grammatically correct.. I agree with you...

1st one is actually correct
In formal speeches I have usually seen people saying
Myself abc etc etc
That's incorrect...

You can say
My self (name) is going to present you this
You cannot say myself (name) and drop the sentence.
