What you see is the crew connecting the packer to a Wireline setting tool of sort. The setting tool is lowered into the well using a Wireline; hence the name. The packer can also be run with tubing or coiled tubing. Wireline setting is usually faster.
Where is the 24 at so you can just get a bite and spin that bitch on instead of the small turns and hitting the dirt with the 36??? Even if it only saves a little time it’s worth it lol.
That's why you keep thinking about Lubriplate; it was the go to o'ring grease back in the days. Not so much now. Molyslip was the better threads lubricant...
D&L Oil Tools out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I may have built that particular VSI-1. Nice to see how it is set up to be run down hole!
I'm at the warehouse but still it's good to see this thanks.
The largest I’ve built has been a 22” squeeze packer and HD packer. If you are in or near Midland, Tx we have a warehouse for your needs!
I liked the stands.. simple and light
Back breakers.
Hi there, I’m wondering who manufactures this tools ??
I freaked out at that gap lmao 🤣

Where’s the. Secondary an the primary charges ..plus the head an collar locator 😁😁👋👋
MECHANISM OF MACHINE !
Dude get a T Handle Allen and save yourself some trouble. That bushing could use some dry molly as well.
That set of Allen wrenches probably belonged to the wireline crew. Packer hands never use their own tools.
@@benrobles752 hhhhhhh hhhhhhh that's right my friend am working in E Line i know that
cool thanks for sharing

Was that #20 short stroked?
Probably so I was wondering that also 😂
you miss one step above the setting sleeve guess what?
I only done PDP plugs. Can you explain what he forgot? Im ignorant with packers.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I thought every wirer liner had lubriplate and used it on all their threads. Just my 42 years worth.

@@p6x2 the dig at my age was not very nice. I have many things to lubricate equipment. Dont care what you like.
👍👍💕👍👍
Shit loads easier if you make up your tension mandrel to your #20, slide it over the T2 and then brass it up. Just sayin...
Crappy sound affects!
