Whenever you go on a cruise or bus tour, they make it abundantly clear you must reboard on time, and if you miss the deadline, it's your responsibility to catch up at the next stop. Ships and busses can't wait for late passengers, no matter what the reason. People who can't manage their time should not take organized tours or stay home.

They had a medical emergency on that tour...
..and the ships have to be out of their docking space to make way for other incoming ships. The cruiseline would be heavily fined if they messed up the ship traffic causing other delays as well. The doimino effect would be an extreme mess
However, they managed to get back to the ship at another port and were refuse entry. So, it wasn't a question of waiting for them. but just letting them back on.
That took an excursion not offered by the cruise

She wasn't shooting, I just watched the news, she stepped out of the truck and they said she's not armed don't shoot, and they weren't listening and shot her
It's no excuse but her wearing tactical gear and helmet probably made it pretty difficult to tell
It's the cops fault, the correct stance to approach an officer is fingers interlocked on head and turn around and slow walk backwards to vehicle. The cop just told her to approach him.

Addiction is a powerful force to deal with. A person will tolerate and allow many things they wouldn't allow in normal circumstances. Your judgement is clouded to get your fix. I was homeless for almost 16 months when I was younger and you wouldn't believe some of the things I saw people do for a tiny amount of a drug, not even enough to get their fix. I saw things that 20 years later still bother me and it was all over addiction. I'm not making excuses for her, just sharing my experience with addiction.
We had a possible funnel cloud in the Caribbean the other day. Very unusual. Normally only inside hurricanes and it's not hurricane season yet.

Kidnapped day before. Shots fired from driver and passenger side during chase. Got out ran and stopped then closest police called her to come. He was yelling, Stop shooting at her.😢 She was in passenger side so she could have shot at them earlier. Police could have swab her hands for gunpowder then they would know🤷🏻♀️

In CA the job only requires a GED education. More officers are quitting or retiring than are being hired. Mass exodus of trained and seasoned officers. The rest do overtime to try to cover shifts.

So sad that to lose the historical “Tropicana.” The “old” Vegas is virtually gone, and I have such wonderful memories from several visits there at the time it existed. If you're going to report on a story, at least present the facts instead of making a company look bad. The story you presented isn't really news. It is very well known among cruisers that taking an excursion that is not offered by the cruise line is unwise because you may not make it back on time. It is also known by cruisers that not returning to the ship before the designated time results in getting left at the port. I've seen it happen multiple times. The cruise line strongly suggests booking your excursions through the cruise line. When you do so, the cruise line knows where you are and they will pay the extra port fees and wait for those passengers (that has happened to us). If passengers choose to book their own excursions outside the cruise line, they will be left behind. This is not news. It is standard protocol and happens often. Passengers documents are left with port authority and the ship sails on without them. Like I said, this really isn't news. However, if you're doing to report on a story, at least present all of the facts. The cruise line was not in the wrong here.
When you are the World's largest supplier of weapons of war, you cannot run away from your responsibility. When the US foreign policy is to set up a military base in your country, the money spent does nothing to help raise the quality of life in that foreign country. When all you do is increase the wealth of the congressional military industrial complex, it does nothing to make the lives of USA people you are elected to protect, but it only help the few already rich and wealthy And you wonder why congress, the president, the supreme court, seems like just puppets to the already rich and wealthy. Tell me how would you like the citizens to act? When they work too many hours and still do not make enough to get ahead and save. Something is wrong with your system, not the rest of the world.
