Do you know military aircraft are mandated by their branch of military that they are NOT to break the sound barrier over land or populated areas...nor come close to it being that different altitudes have lense dense air. Also, what you and many others in this video witnessed what's called a vapor cone due to the altitude of the aircraft and humidity levels in the air which causes a vapor cloud around the aircraft due to various pressures the surface of the aircraft is experiencing at this particular speed given the humidity levels.

After all, I agree with you, the second machine didn't break the sound barrier, that is why the video title included "nearly".
