Valerie vanorden Hello Valerie, Dr Martin's Bleed Proof White can be tinted with gouache or watercolor. I don't know how well it would work for show card lettering, but Dr Martin's BPW is our bestselling white for pen calligraphy at johnnealbooks.com

I used Rich Art available at McLogans Sign Supply in LA. Sick Block also has tempera but not as pigmented.
