Lucky chap to be out on drilled field. I'm kicked off my permission when it's drilled. Great finds.

Some crackin' finds! New Subscriber here. Always great to see history recovered! One recommendation I have is to maybe give a bit of history of the coins you are finding.

Nice little hunt! Have you tried the 13” coil on the deus yet? I absolutely love it for finding hammered coins! Been going over fields I think I’ve done with the 9” and finding loads more coins with the 13”

Getting the 13" myself. Hopefully it'll grab me a few extra inches.

@@1442GlennLane you’ll notice a change in recovery rate using it! The sounds are quieter the further it is away from the centre of the coil, on pasture I’ve dug up coins 13-14” deep, it’s useless if your close to electric fencing within 30-40 meters 🙈
It picks up tiny things and coins on the side,
Good luck! Fantastic coil to use!

@@br4d101 Thanks. I always use audio response on 7, so this may enhance those weaker signals with the 13" when off centre. I've found on very trashy ploughed/rolled with the 9" and 11", that if audio response is low, the trashy ferrous signals overpower the softer non ferrous signals. By increasing to 7, it increases both ferrous/non ferrous sounds, but the non ferrous still sing through.

I’ve heard great things about 13”, unfortunately I’m not in the position to buy one yet

@@1442GlennLane I always run my discrim at +5 as get annoyed with the iron sounds coming through, reactivity on the 9” is 2.5-3 and on the 13” is 1.5-2, I’ve slowed down a fair bit with the 13” coil compared to the 9”
My Audio response is set to 5, I never really change it to be honest, I’ve found tonnes of stuff with both coils, just seems the 13” is better at finding hammereds, I’ve pulled 8 more hammered off of one piece of land that I though I’d completely done with the 9” coil and a Garret at max lol
