Nice ride. We won't pick over that one curve. Just don't do that! I had an 83 Magna 1100cc. It was stupid fast, of course. A Sabre came long side one day and we were looking at each other's bikes. Then he decided to run them and I agreed. I got walked pretty bad. The Sabres are a bit different. I do love the way those bikes pull, the 1100cc V4. My 750 Magna is pretty quick, but not fast. It struggles to run at 120. Then won't really hold that speed if I hit head wind or a grade. But it's two wheels so I'm all happy when rolling. You know!
Commute year round, arrive at work at 4:30am. Rain, heat, humidity, whatever I ride. Tires get checked twice a week, I fire up the air compressor then do the kids bikes and wife's car's tires. Battery is constantly charged and maintained with the harbor freight Viking 4amp smart charger. Chain cleaned, lubed and adjusted if necessary twice a month if I’m having free time, once a month if I am swamped and less free time. Bike is covered at work and garaged at home. I keep the vibration checks mostly for bolts mounting the motor to the frame. Air filter clean, oil and refresh every quarter year. Brake fluid check twice a year.
Hey, if you could pick one bike as your favorite among them all, what would it be? Mine, a mint 1987 Kawasaki ZL1000. Had one once. Really sweet bikes.
I have a really tough time picking a favorite. I will continue thinking but I really do like them all! I have to get seat time to really get a good read on it.
Actually yes we have eggs... we have quite abit of Mennonite farms beside me now so there's fresh produce everywhere. Chicken eggs yes if not washed keeps for long. I'd like to try that bike 🏍 as on my 84 Shadow I've found that when on highway doing 110 kms/hr and I'm on a decent hill I find that my bike kind of just holds and acceleration with a roll on isn't much exciting. Nonetheless I'm riding and happy lol!
