I would highly advise using a Nixtrainz Decoder Buddy and completely recount the install from scratch. Those wires are a pain in the ass to look at and attempt to keep neat
I've used a few Decoder Buddies now. They're only useful for a 21-pin decoder. Nice that they have built-in resistors too. Seriously, the wires are not that intimidating; it just looks crazy. The hardest part of this installation was elimination of light bleed given how close together the LED's are. I built a 'box' to contain the light from each bulb and it's still not perfect. I'll upload a follow-up video shortly.
Should also mention, the wiring and the amount of wires coming from a Decoder Buddy is worse when you're doing 12 LED's in a loco (been there, done that, lol)
@@chrisdaniell2990 That’s why good wiring management is an imperative. Helps to have some kind of organization of the wires using heat shrink tubes for example
