That race was perfection.
I still get butterflies and sweaty palms watching 4x4 races all these years later 😄 It never leaves your blood, I guess. Miss this so much!
They looked good. Third leg is a monster. Anchor leg brings it home. They should run 3.07 to 3.08. Depending on the conditions at regionals and at State. Nice squad.
If they run 3:07 then I can say I saw 2 teams do that the Henry Thomas, Mike Marsh led Hawthorne team from 1985!!! I was a freshman, and saw them at Penns....
Hawthorne - 85'...Muir-96 - Summer Creek - 22'????!!!..I was in hs for Hawthorne, I was 25 for Muir, Now I'm 50 to witness these guys...MAAAN life is GOOD!!!!!..Do ur thang Yung bucks.....DO UR THANG 💯💯💯💯.. Henry Thomas, and Obea Moore are watching.... BELIEVE THAT!!!!
..
Salute to those young men.
Excellent job boys impressive!!!!!
He’s back 💯
Yes sir 💯 Sorry I haven’t been consistent lately. But that hopefully will change soon 👍🏾
Bring them to Penn's!!!
Please please bring them to Penn Relays. The Jamaicans need some competition.
Texas teams can almost never make it because of the cost and it’s during our Area championships 🙃
Jamaicans have 19 and 20 year olds on there team. They couldn't mess with these boys if you all bring you're 17 and 18 year olds
@@stephenwilliams7200 wdym can you word that better are you saying summer creek couldn’t
Mess with the Jamaicans or the other way around
Impressive! However, I saw Berkeley High in Berkeley, CA. run a 3:08 4x4 Relay in 1981......Over 40 years ago......That was impressive!!!!!!
Good point. I saw Serra's 3:08 (2010), as well as Hawthorne's 3:07 (1985) in Austin. Good conditions can serve many outstanding performances. Best of luck Summer Creek!
Yes. Remember it was Henry Thomas vs Roy Martin. 45 can't catch another 45.
@@wilburhoffman5510 ./..Yes...It is amazing how fast these young guys are running. I love track!!!!
@@BPC878 I agree. I also salute those programs that take a swing at those marks each year.
3.09! Ok
I will tell you know if they hand it off in first they have no chance...my boy going to USC. Who gives a crap about what school you boy going to. I looked up the fastest 400 times in the nation. This was a team effort and I get being proud of your son but you singled out your son. Just looked at the top 400 meter runners in the US and no player from this team in the top 10.
Tell me you didn’t watch the video without telling me you didn’t watch the video. Clown comment 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Great video
Yes sir great performance 💯 Can’t wait to see what y’all run at state. Proud to be one of your coaches man ✊🏾
@@MJPTV that’s that Texas people stuff can’t imagine running that in highschool
@@n88te the speed is insane down here man 💨💨💨
