- An instrumental version of one of the most annoyingly catchy tunes ever to stick with you from your 80s/90s childhood, with on screen lyrics. Originally composed by Paul Williams and Miles Goodman.
As usual with these reconstructions, I took liberties with the instrumentation and notation, but I've decided not to beat myself up about it.
The animation messes up on occasion because of hasty last minute alterations I had to make due to YouTit being an utter tube regarding video/audio sync.

Brilliant instrumental cover! Scrooge is my absolute favorite song of the film that got me motivated in watching Muppet Christmas Carol a few years back.

Ah, thank you very much! And don't worry, when I do covers using recreations, I always credit the original composers alongside the rearrangement. Miles Goodman and Paul Williams were amazing with the soundtrack for this film.

That opening verse is really intimidating...
But having it be sung by puppets takes the edge off a bit.
@@AlWynC It's like in Muppet Treasure Island, if you were just listening to "Shiver My Timbers" it would be quite creepy, but the edge is taken off by it being The Muppets. Or in a non-Muppet song there's the villain song in the film "Anastasia" which is terrifying... until you see that the backing singers are strange little wormy things.

Thanks very much! :) Re-rendered by ear, so not an authoritative take, and in hindsight far from accurate. Awkwardly enough, this is mostly based on the OST version, and I've only compared the two recently and noticed how different they are! A score would be brilliant, I agree.

I hope your eyes have recovered! Yep, I think the bouncy lyrics were a slight misstep. Something closer to the more traditional format like on your channel would have been best! But, it was more for my benefit really, and at least it shouldn't really be an issue to people who know the lyrics off by heart.
As for other songs, I don't think I will, as much as I love them!

Hi Arron. Absolutely fine with me, although I admit I'm not completely sure how copyright laws might affect this (i.e. does campaigning for a non-profit count as fair use). Hopefully it would be fine if credit is given to the composers and owners of the soundtrack.
