Masters in Public Health Dentistry is a non-clinical branch most of the time (there are some exceptions in a few states in the US where you can perform some clinical work). Generally, the areas of expertise for a dental public health specialist are in Epidemiology, health policy, ethics, management, biomedical research, evidence-based medicine, and data analytics. These specialists work in academia and research institutions. You can also pursue a Ph.D. after completing a master's.
