Routine maintenance like this will keep things operating effectively and save money in the long run. When we bought the place the smell from the dishwasher was awful. After watching this video I went through step by step and what a difference! It's like brand new again. I was blown away at the buildup in the hoses and I can't stress enough the importance of routine maintenance. Already put a reminder on my calendar 6 months from now for the next service ;) Thanks again my man! Much love and respect. 👊

That should not be a problem. The air gap cover is normally the only thing replaced when installing an air gap soap dispenser. It should not impede air gap performance at all.
