The team of Ascension WoW did an amazing job with the necromancer class proving it can be way more than a mix of warlock and DK something that you would certainly love Nixxiom !
Nixx, this is exactly the kind of thing that makes me think, Blizzard, hire these guys to make a bunch of new classes and just release them into the game with a bit of tuning. Eve. If it sets the game wild for a couple of days while they balance it, it's be a hit I bet.

I have to say i have been playing the necro class on the PTR for a bit now, i just love it you guys made a necromancer class that his unique proving that it can be its own thing and has a Unholy DK and Demo Warlock player i am thankfull and proud to say that your work is near perfection wich also goes for all your other classes, even the classless servers are just incredible
Yes blizzard hs been doing the same shit again and again with no improvement for classic wow just the same thing. But these guys improved it alottt and the is no more frustrating but just pure fun.. blizzard should learn

I would like to see a new *_Mounted-Dragoon_* class with default Brown Chocobo Mount that plays like a (Melee &/or Ranged) Hunter: With "Stances or Forms" that allow you to change Mount Forms that allow you to specialize further into (1) Tanking ("White" or "Silver" Chocobo), (2) Healing with either "Green" Nature Heals & spells OR "Gold"/"Yellow" Holy Heals & spells, (3) Added Magical DPS Abilities with "Red" (Fire), "Blue" (Frost), "Black" (Shadow), "Purple" (Arcane). Altho, I think there should be a Cooldown & Cast-time to change between Specialized-Forms: Like, at least one-second to ten-second cast-time (to prevent accidental changes). And some kind of cooldown (that can be lowered with talents). Like, for example, a "Magic Spec" might be able to instantly change between Red, Blue, Black, & Purple with no cooldown (making a "Stance Dance" Caster Class), while they could NOT change into Tank or Healing forms repeatedly & instantly. And actually, this idea would be really cool because you could make a "Stance Dancing" Healing Class as well with "Green" & "Yellow" forms: Like, having "Yellow" Form spells costing Mana, but generating Nature Runes where you have to change to "Green" Form to use up your Nature Runes into Nature Heals ? Same deal with Magic Spec: Fire & Frost cost Mana but generate Runes that can be used for Shadow & Arcane spells ? Alternatively, I think we could have a "Sage" Class that studies both Nature & Holy magic ? ...Or, I would say that "Monk" magic could be both Nature-based & Holy-based... but, of course, there's already a Monk Class :P

The only thing I missed when transferring from Everquest to Warcraft was the Necromancer. Looks like they just mashed up an affliction lock with an Unholy DK. Necromancers are the unquestioned kings of DoT. No other class should be even matching their DoT damage. Necros should also have strong pets as that is their bag, summoning dead folks. Either focus on a single strong pet, or many weaker ones. Pallies obviously get the class advantage against them. Necros have to make a deal with the darkside to get mana. That means losing a small amount of HP per tick to gain mana regen per tick. Different than a warlock's Lifetap/Drain life. Lifetap would actually be an attack to leech HP for healing while doing damage. A Nuke/Heal. Obviously squishy as a pure caster, they can sacrifice pets for benefits like armor to absorb a burst attack or increase healing rate and amount. Hopefully they get it right.
Is this going to be similar to the summoner necromancer from Diablo 2? I have always wanted an MMORPG to have a class similar to that, probably not amazing in PvP, but absolutely awesome and fun in PvE. Regardless, I am hyped for this class and it will definitely be the one I play when this comes out. You folks are doing really great work and I want you to know that I am thankful there is a team trying new things and coming up with cool and new ideas for classes. It is this type of imaginative stuff that makes the game all the better, new content and trying out new things will always be the best thing to do for a game to keep it interesting. Looking forward to when CoA comes out, please do not rush anything and take your time.
Honestly really appreciate your patience: 21 classes is a huge undertaking and we want you to absolutely LOVE the final product. It'll take a bit more time for polish, but it'll be worth it.

They never intended to make a good game. I mean Act Blizz intended to sell a game with microtransactions (expansions, base game, $$). Everything is about making shareholders happy, not the players. This is what I like about this ascension project, such a cool vibe and they are not afraid about balance. They just do it.
Okay so... this... I think I want to reinstall and play this... I'm absolute trash on A52 server with trying to craft my own build, I know. I'm probably just a trash player in general... but this... this looks like a ton of fun. I've always loved Necromancer type classes, and I really do wanna try this.
3 for most specs, 5 for animation. And animation can summon more temporary ones. Considering limitations that can come from having lots of minions, its a great direction.
If it doesn't come from runes, don't call it runic power. Also I feel like you definitely could have figured out how to make a healer or even tank from Necromancer.
I hope we can actually play as a minion master and the minions are powerful and not just there doing minimal dps and die easy. I want to play a minion build that is actually good and can compete.

Rime is such a cool spec. All about build up and sustaining your built up buffs to massively increase ypur dps. One of my favorite specs.

So they mixed warlock, death knight and mage
Animation spec: Revert the last patch, as it completly breaks the summons. Very low damage and cant tank mobs now.
