There was a tweet on the special monster in the Jeju Island. I'm coping we getting at least 3 seasons 🤞🤞😂 Also they bluntly showed us in their old teaser of Drip-woo in his Jeju form. so cope is hard af xD
@@foxthroat3410 the anime is doing well and it took a long time to get this to animation so I'm pretty confident they will complete it over time. Solo leveling isn't really THAT long of a story anyway
What made this episode a little confusing for non-readers is the lack of description on how he blocked the sword. Might show it in a future episode but technically the Knights glove armor he had can negate damage done to the arm, so he blocked it with the element of surprise and then stabbed the shit out of igris's eye which had no armor.
Crazy thing is Jin woo would've died if igris didn't decide to fight him fair and square. Igris dropping his weapons could be taken as 1 of 3 things being chivalry, mockery or mercy.
just remember that igris can easily defeat around 10 S ranks Singlehandedly that's how strong he is you will probably see it in season 3 but for now with Jinwoo igris was holding back to test him if igris wanted to he could have killed jinwoo at the second jin woo step foot in the throne room.
Like you said how did he win, The reason he won is because he exploited his inventory machnic to get his dagger back into his hand and faked being exhausted on the throne. He used underhand tactics and won where as igries was being knightly and honorable.
@@Cola-42 I am just making sure they understand Jinwoo would have lost this fight, Spoilers I know the real reason why he won but are you just gonna go around and spoil people or keep the illusion? It's better this way.
basically what happened to make Sung Jinwoo win was that he used the Igris final attack to hold his sword with the glove (which has a special effect of dmg immunity to his hand), and then he throws his sowrd away, stabs him in the eye with the ability Fatal Strike and pushs him agaisnt the wall, even thought Igris was stronger that was possible because Igris was caught off guard and was feeling pain in his weakness (eye). After that Igris tried to use Jinwoo's dagger to attack him but Jinwoo used a trick of summoning the dagger back to his inventory and to his hand, getting Igris off guard a second time and using at least 10x Fatal Strikes in his neck/lower chin. Fatal Strike is an ability that deals critical dmg in the enemy's weak/vital spots, but it costs some mana (50 - 70 mana cost, if im not mistaken). That's how he won, getting luck and being smart.
If they fought head up, Jon Woo would have lost. Igris didn't feel that it was an issue, which is why he was willing to fight him without his weapons too. He beat the breaks off of him, and the glove armor he has cant be cut. It caught Igris off guard. Then he stacked Fatal blows all in an attack on his weak point, which stuns him temporarily. He then rushed him and blitzed him. So it was mostly luck vs actual skill
Make sure you take pictures of Jeju Island!!! They will be animating that island and you would LOVE to reference the pictures. My sister did that with JJK's Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in s2.
Theres an actual reason why Jin Woo was able to catch Igris sword in his right hand. Its because the armor he picked up earlier from the knight, the glove had a special effect that prevented all damage dealt to the hand that it was covering. This wasn't shown in the Anime, however.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Some thoughts: 1. That last kick to the neck before he killed Igris, he realized that the neck and head were less protected by armour. 2. Igris drew his sword to finish Jin Wu so it was honorable for Jin Wu to use his dagger after Igris first started using his weapon again. 3. His dagger was not penetrating Igris’ armour earlier but because his kick showed that Igris neck area was vulnerable, Jin Wu could now use his daggers debuff effects when attacking Igris there
They didn't explain this in the anime, but the gauntlet he had equipped prevents injuries to his hand, which is how he was able to stop the sword. It terms of everything else, I'll leave y'all to theorize.
I think sung jin woo's last desperate attempt was to act like he's lost to lower his guard, and just got mad lucky with that eye stab. Also, igris tried to stab Sung with the knife, only for it to vanish, so jinwoo basically cheesed tf out of that win. Once the dagger with debuffs do enough damage, the poison and paralysis starts kicking in.
Jinwoo essentially staggered Igris at the end, just like you would an Elden Ring boss. He stabbed him in the eye and quickly followed with a tackle to keep him off balance.
This series has a really cool cosmology and it is unveiled in a really cool way throughout the series from ch1 to the end, you guys are just starting to pull the thread on it all
Actually Igris went easy on Jinwoo for a reason. It will be explained later in the story. And they didn't really explained how he caught the blade with the hand. The gauntled has the abilities somewhat like a shield, which saved him from being cut. The rest is just betting everything on a sneak attack which no surprise worked.
At the beginning of the video, it was nice to see the two greeting each other in Korean. It's a busy schedule to prepare for the wedding and travel, but thank you very much for watching the animation and uploading the video. Congratulations on your wedding so much and I hope you are happy. I hope you make a lot of memories in Jeju Island.😄💕
yes it was a fluke but it was also a result of his willpower giving him the rest of his strength to do the finishing blow which is why they showed his willpower lvl up
@@Cola-42No his buff isn’t activated until enough damage like the Cerberus fight. Fairy Tail wouldn’t show someone’s arm cut off and instead be naked.
In the manhwa, he’s beaten but not as badly as he is in an anime. The transition from the knights hand back to Jinwoo’s and then the throat stab is much faster too and it catches Igris off guard so it makes more sense for the final blow to land. In the anime it makes it seem as if he had plenty of time to stop him, but he didn’t. While it’s still a fluke, it’s more believable in the manwha
Igris thought that jinwoo was defeated and exhausted and therefore let his guard down Jinwoo took advantage of his mistake and attacked his weak point (his eye) immediately and then took advantage of the inventory summoning function to get dagger his back And lastly finished him with his newly acquired skill advanced dagger weilding and one other which lets him deal multiple critical hits consecutively
Watching Solo Leveling in Korea it's like a dream but i just want to visit Korea. The reason he defeated Igris is because Igris didn't try dodging his blow because throughout the fight Jinwoo didn't really do any dmg to him and at the throne instead of spawning the dagger low he started it as a punch and Igris knew that a punch won't do anything to him and at the last moment he summoned the dagger and then it was too late
👉Here is a info that the fans miss or forget .....after finally defeating Igris the Blood Red Commander, Jin Woo is judged on his performance in his Job Change Quest that this entire dungeon was centered around, and even if something weird didn’t happen he would have gotten a good class, but because of an interesting circumstance where Jin Woo actually forgot to do his daily quests that day, he was actually sent to the Penalty Dungeon for a full 24 hours, where he was able to use items, refresh himself and even buy a few weapons that came in handy during the battle. The good thing is, this time that Jin Woo spent inside of the penalty dungeon also counted towards the time that he spent inside of the Job Change Quest, and given that he’s handed extra points and a better job for every minute he stayed inside, it’s no surprise that when it’s time for Sung Jin Woo to unlock his first job, he’s given the highest grade ......i wont say what class he get 😅 wait for the next episode and the the legendary ARISE scene
The manwha goes more in depth because its slower passed, but if you want to pause to read what is on the items and when abilities show up _really_ fast, they could be pretty important.
Remember in episode 3 when jinwoo was in the hospital the system windows said that its designed to nurture help the player grow. There is a reason for that. So it won't design something for him to kill him.
Congratz on the wedding guys I wish you all the best and a happy life together. And about the show...for me the real solo leveling starts after next episode ARISE😍😍😍
You are right jin woo doesn't have plot armour someone is intentionally keeping him alive and training him you will be able to find out probably in season 3 or 4 also the story is still going on in Solo levelling: Ragnarok the sequel to Solo levelling.
It's understandable how you got that mixed feeling after Igris was defeated........well in the later story, you'll understand that Igris was MEANT to be defeated.
When Jin woo was on the throne and grabbed the sword, I took it as the scenes before (with his sister and mom) were him thinking about why hes fighting. And his determination came through from that.
Don't worry, in the manhwa as well they didn't go super in depth about the 19 raids with the strike team. It might have been even less than the anime honestly. Each individual gate isn't as important as just showing that he basically solos them and he's grinding his level way up
So the gauntlets he picked up to explain had an effect to negate all damage done to his hands only, and igris has his power sealed so jinwoo realized at the end of his fight that he was outmatched if it wasnt for that no spoiling thats all ill give you do with it what you will and have a great day yall are great reactors
This job change quest was basically designed by system to check his skills in all classes and Igris was designed to check Jinwoo's absolute limits. In that entire fight sequence Igris could've easily killed Jinwoo instead of watching him activate skills or sit on throne pretending to be unconscious. The system wants to keep the player alive so it will not design any quests which will kill him as long as he shows potential. Him winning against Igris was more of a luck thing or maybe pre-determined by system who knows xD
@@deathslayerzorks4461you’ll get to know more about Igris wayy later on and then you’d know what was actually going on in his mind during the fight. But that’d probably be in season 3 or 4😭

I´ve read the manhwa a few times, love it. Loving the adaptation too so far. I really like your reactions. I hope you enjoy your trip and your wedding. I send you a warm congrat from Argentina!
What triggered him to fight back...its partly bcuz of who he is as a character. He constantly prevailed in the midst of death even as the weakest hunter in the world. Despite being an E rank Hunter Jinwoo always had the willpower, determination and natural tactical skills to overcome odds against him over and over again. He even admits luck plays a factor as well, and there is a spoiler that will make it more clear later but i wont say it rn. Even so, as a manhwa reader, it was very evident that the author in many ways was allowing us readers to realize early on the sheer willpower, determination and noble character of Sung Jinwoo. He was the one who sacrificed himself for others at the double dungeon. He hunted over and over again though he was weak and always getting hurt, all for his mother's sake. He never got angry or talked back to people who looked down on him. It all factors into his growth as well.
a puppet master :O that is a really good train of thought! - even while reading the novel at early stages not many people would guess what is going to happen next with his "job" xd! also remember the system wants him to be stronger and is nurturing him fight by fight and he also needs to prove himself else he would just die... wish you guys to have a great time! see you next ep :) .
First of all, congratulations on the marriage~!!🎉 But without spoiling anything, the Webtoon does explain this very moment as to how he “lucked” out in this fight but that’s like… very far away. Everything for the most part does get and explanation so we don’t have to accept it all as plot armor 🤭
the only thing i actually have not enjoyed from the anime, as a big fan of the manwa, is the lack of small menu pop ups to represent what all is going on, there was a screen explanation for why he was able to catch the sword on the throne, but it was left out in the anime. still love it though, its been stellar animation wise, and i'm still happy its being represented well
Something I’ve not thought about until this reaction, no one questions that JinWoo goes into these dungeons as an ‘E’ rank with no armour or weapons. And is managing to take the damage that he’s taken thus far with no armour
It's not well explained, but in the manhwa, the gauntlet has a unique Passive :"Prevent all hand injuries" This is why he could block the attack. Everyone must have felt like that swing would have gotten him no matter what based on what we saw earlier but yeah. If you guys wanna check its on chapter 40 in the manhwa. The anime doesnt do a good job of relating the system windows. Like when he absorbed the poison or when he activates the full recovery or accept a reward. In the manhwa you feel like in a game, especially since they recap all the stats at the end of chapters.
Season 2 is gonna pop so hard. Now we need as much dedication and budget on Tower of God (I'm my opinion a much better manhwa). Congratulations on your marriage 🎉🎉
the reason he won is Igris let his guard down in anger over Jin-woo sitting in the throne giving him the opening to stab him in the face and spam fatal strike. in the manhwa he just stays sittng yelling "FATAL STRIKE" untill Igris dies they added that dope reveres beating for the anime
one thing they didnt show you in the anime because of which igris fight didnt make sense is the hand he caught igris' sword had a glove equipped. that glove has a indestructible property. because of which he could catch the sword
My absolute biggest gripe about Episode 10 is why Jin Woo didn't take the heavy armor and use it. He obviously could and it would buff his stats at the same time.
I was speechless this whole fight. Except for the "YEAA!!"s and "HOLY FU--"s Most tense battle by far. And then the system drops the hordes on him... PETTY. lol Can't wait for Ep. 12. This show is getting so lit.
Igris could have very easily killed Jinwoo if he wanted to. It's not mentioned in the anime but the armour Jinwoo put on had a debuff against certain injuries. I don't necessarily think it's plot armour. Jinwoo got two to three hits in prior to stabbing Igris in the eye. That's proof that Igris wasn't too far from him in terms of speed. Igris was just waaaaay more skilled. Jinwoo waited for his moment when Igris had his guard down to strike at a fatal point and use Fatal Strike which has a special effect of course. But all in all, amazing reaction, guys 🙌! Can't wait for Saturday. It's a moment manwha readers have been waiting for 😁.
Spoiler and the reason of why Sung Jin Woo won the impossible fight Igris was there to really test MC if he was worthy of the system (Class change) and most of his real power was sealed away and even if power being sealed, Igris did hold back fighting against the MC which is funny because it was mostly a one way ass whooping lol and the anime didn't have much detail about his armor set but in manhwa/novel his armor set for the arm that blocked Igris sword swing had a status effect that no damage can be taken on the arm, the anime skip some scene and details that's why it can be sometimes confusing but yeah it was still lucky win but good on the MC to take advantage of the inventory system to take the dagger back from out of igris hand and re summon the dagger and use all his skills for a critical hit in that one moment Igris wasn't ready for.
Well, you mentioned Elden Ring when you saw Igris and that's exactly how it went in every boss fight I had. They kicked my ass and when I won, it was just a fluke
this episode has made me start reading the manhwa again as I'm 99% certain this dungeon was a 3 life attempt and Igris was supposed to absolutely merk him twice which I'm kind of sad we didn't get to see
Everything will be explained at it proper speed, there are a lot of questions. Similar like on AOT but this Anime is a-lot shorter because it moves at fast pace n on this finale u will learn a lot specially if u deep theorizing. 🤔

I won't spoil, but from all people reacting this anime, you're the closest to something. It will take time, but you'll get answers.
Congratulations on the wedding. And your commentary on Jin woo's " lucky wins" are on the right track. Season 3 most likely the reveal.
Just remember nxtweek we ARISE
a puppet master :O that is a really good train of thought! - even while reading the novel at early stages not many people would guess what is going to happen next with his "job" xd! also remember the system wants him to be stronger and is nurturing him fight by fight and he also needs to prove himself else he would just die... wish you guys to have a great time! see you next ep :) .
First of all, congratulations on the marriage~!!🎉
But without spoiling anything, the Webtoon does explain this very moment as to how he “lucked” out in this fight but that’s like… very far away. Everything for the most part does get and explanation so we don’t have to accept it all as plot armor 🤭
Non spoiler comment: Jin woo was just lucky during this fight, he tricked Igris because there's no way for him to win that fair and square.
The fight is so good that people forgot Jinwoo wore an armor set before meet Igris. So he can endure more damage and hold Igris sword with bare hand😂
Actually in manhwa the gloves jin woo wear has description showed, it says that it prevents the wearer arms getting cut or injured.
the only thing i actually have not enjoyed from the anime, as a big fan of the manwa, is the lack of small menu pop ups to represent what all is going on, there was a screen explanation for why he was able to catch the sword on the throne, but it was left out in the anime. still love it though, its been stellar animation wise, and i'm still happy its being represented well
If you didn’t know solo leveling is a Korean Manhwa lil fun fact but the location and VA language was changed two months before release
He noticed his weakness when he kicked him on the neck. His eyes went out for a moment.
As someone who's read the manga you're just gonna have to wait until the end of the series to get answers. But it's gonna be so worth it!!!
" We are going to judge you for honeymoon " That's what I heard😂😂😂
I was speechless this whole fight. Except for the "YEAA!!"s and "HOLY FU--"s Most tense battle by far. And then the system drops the hordes on him... PETTY. lol
Can't wait for Ep. 12. This show is getting so lit.
Heartfelt Congratulations to your union and hope you guys are having a blast in Korea .
Congrats guys ❤
Congratulations!! As one of your fan, I'm so excited that you guys are getting married and visited Korea! I wish you have such a great time here!!
Congratulations on the wedding! You two have fun!
Whaaaat congratulations!!!! You both are awesome!!
Firstly , Congrats 🎉
Secondly , Episode 11 was insanely Epic 🔥🔥
Spoiler and the reason of why Sung Jin Woo won the impossible fight
Igris was there to really test MC if he was worthy of the system (Class change) and most of his real power was sealed away and even if power being sealed, Igris did hold back fighting against the MC which is funny because it was mostly a one way ass whooping lol and the anime didn't have much detail about his armor set but in manhwa/novel his armor set for the arm that blocked Igris sword swing had a status effect that no damage can be taken on the arm, the anime skip some scene and details that's why it can be sometimes confusing but yeah it was still lucky win but good on the MC to take advantage of the inventory system to take the dagger back from out of igris hand and re summon the dagger and use all his skills for a critical hit in that one moment Igris wasn't ready for.
I think dying just once was enought for Him to be like this enraged right before he dies, because now he has the power to NOT!
Maybe who ever used to be on the empty throne is the puppet master? :P
That was MR SONG move from episode 9 against Mr Kang lol
U guys are the only ones who are asking the right questions 👀
HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS! 😊 CONGRATULATIONS 🍾 CHEERS 🥂
Next episode is called “ARISE” I CANT😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Love your reactions! Congratulations too!!!
Omggggg congratulations on your marriage!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
