Let's check out the newest iteration of Zombicide designed by Raphaël Guiton, Jean-Baptiste Lullien, Nicolas Raoult and published by CMON. In this video I'll talk about what the first edition Zombicide meant to me and show you everything you can expect to find within the core box for the 2nd Edition. *Rollers: Let me know in the comments below about your stories with Zombicide! Did one of the previous entries introduce you to miniature board games? Does the game still hold a place in your collection? All of them? Just one? Are you done with the series? I'd love to hear the solo communities thoughts!* "Zombicide, the board game, has taken the world by storm with over two million copies sold since its release in 2012 and spawning a cult franchise of cooperative zombie slaying all over the world. In Zombicide, zombies are controlled by the game, while players take on the role of survivors who must co-operate in order to survive and thrive in a world overrun by the bloodthirsty undead. Find guns and gear to take the fight to the zombies through 25 different scenarios linked by a branching story as you pick your way through an infested city. Zombicide (2nd Edition) features refined and streamlined rules, including updates to target priority for ranged attacks, interactions with doors, and vehicle mechanisms. A new dark zone feature, a zone that hides zombies from survivor's attacks, has been added as well. Zombicide (2nd Edition) will include new components and miniatures as well, including plastic dashboards and new child survivors. Returning players will be able to use their existing collection from previous Zombicide releases as well." *Media Inquiries:* rollingsologamer@gmail.com You can connect with the Rolling Solo community in multiple places! Thank you for the unboxing ❤ Interesting to see the changes. I only recently painted up and played ZC1st Ed, core box: nice to see a lot more sculpt variation as well as greater variety re: survivors and abominations straight out the core experience. In all in on ZC;UoA as the theme sold me... look forward to watching some play through vids of this to better appreciate the changes between 1st and 2nd ed. ❤🤗👍
Played risk. Then like you I played zombicide and it was a gateway to my mini game habit. You were the one of the only guys doing playthroughs when I subbed. Have all the iterations. I love classic, and black plague for new gamers. Invader is better for my gamer friends cause of the crazy bum rush. And of course we totally house rule the shooting survivors, only if you miss on a one do you hit survivors. Have my pledge still in the box due to shadows of brimstone, sword and sorcery, and alter quest. I'm most excited about the dashboards and survivor card upgrade. The extra character cards that I missed out on due to not KS till green hoard. Now I can finally play as the entire cast of big bang theory. Or big lebowski. My favorite version is black plague with the green hoard, mostly because you get the variety of zombie types and abominations. Hopefully 2nd edition can give all of that and quicker gameplay due to the expedited spawning. I really don't see this as a solo game though, it's just so much more fun with three or five people. You rock. Keep on rolling awesome
I’ll keep it up! Thanks for the kind words. Invader is one I haven’t played. The only iteration to date. I’m certainly interested to give it a shot. Heard good things. Was great reading this, thanks for sharing my friend! 😄👍🏼
@@RollingSolo It's more so having to micro manage who gets kills to keep XP even. Granted when I watched it last it as a long time ago. But it used to be really easy for one player to "snowball" for lack of a better term. Causing stronger zombies to show up that the other players couldn't handle. Always felt like a silly mechanic to me.
Is a game really ever a mini based game? Any minis game can be played with standees or token's but the minis are cool looking. I don't see miniatures as a category of game.....🤷♂️

A game I've always been interested in. But the way xp is handled as always pushed me away.
Hey Septen! Ah, interesting take. You’re not a fan of the way things scale? Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Hey Shawn, I could see arguments either way. Humans like to categorize things so I doubt that’s going away haha
Eeeeeemmmmmmm.......no. If i wouldn't know Your opening 2ed box i would think its just another season... So, a no for m.
Hey MM! Fair enough. Every game isn't for everyone. Appreciate your thoughts and thanks for checking out the video. Cheers!
