Jim Duggan is probably one of the most lovable characters in and out of the wrestling ring.
I would never mess with Butch Reed. Or John Nord, for that matter, but Butch, man, serious business there.
If you ever interview Raven, ask him about Nord, he was is his babysitter in Portland, and when Raven met him he was like "How the hell do I stop this guy from doing anything?He's a maniac"
.he's told a couple of stories on shoots in the past but I'm sure he has a lot more.
You know if these Guys Never bring these Stories up, they would Never be heard of!!!

Arkansas was the other state Dutch Forgot. And he had it backwards: they would do OKC in the afternoon and Tulsa in the evening. Great story though.

I worked a WWE event in Nashville in 2004 and was around HHH and Hacksaw more than anyone. Duggan had broken glasses and they were taped up. But I'm not a mark and I was working (and so were they) so there was no conversation.
Man Mid-South those were the days ! I remember the Mongolians . Dutch could you tell me a wrestlers name with the last name Evans that was in Mid-South. Young guy that had a beef with the Mongolians . One match the Evans guy was bleeding (jumped by the Mongoloians) but came into the ring with a coke bottle. Kid had talent and was getting a push at that time.
I remember Nord walking past me when I sat ringside back when he wrestled as The Barbarian, dude was tall & big. A lot bigger than the other guys on the card ( not including One Man Gang)

I would’ve put my money on Butch until I saw this. I’ve heard some people say Nord could handle himself but I always though Butch was one of the rougher guys back stage
Only if they had cams back then.... but then back then lots of people would of got in big trouble being away and doing naughty stuff.

Dutch there you go with 2nd hand information. Watts said previously that Reed beat Earth Wind and Fire out of nord. Actually be present before you tell a story, just like Randy and the Waffle House story you weren’t there. But Rip Rogers was there and you don’t even give him his credit. Dutch you have to be stopped dude. It’s not accurate nor is it cute(!)

3:26 i can garuntee you if you saw that fight it would look like 2 gay lovers having a romp, slaps and neck locks etc, pfffff and if you fight some guy thats done plenty of boxing you will be fighting no one youll be on the floor knocked out with your teeth smashed and your lips busted or a broken jaw
