Great job. Because of you I own about 20, mostly extraits, and I haven't been disappointed once. I have dupes from other brands as well, similar price, same original, but Perfume Parlour is always the winner in every regard.
Nice video Paul, this is your first video I watch and I like your explanation. What do you think of PP spray extract versions? Are they really worth the higher price? Applyng roll-ons prior to the fragrance might improve perfomance I believe. Keep up!!

Absolutely top notch Paul! The video I’ve been waiting for!! I think for majority of us even over £100 for a fragrance is a bit out of reach (especially at the moment) so these reviews are just amazing. Knowing which ones perform best and are the most similar is super helpful! More of these videos would be amazing! (Alongside the 365 project of course! 😂)
Thanks Rob. Yes this is a great way to to get a feel for niche fragrances without breaking the bank. I know how you feel about the £100 threshold and I get a nose bleed when I fork out over that for a bottle. I try to cover a bit of every price range but I’m yet to purchased anything ridiculously priced like the Clive Christians or some of the rojas etc.

Like yourself, the likes of PP were my entry into niche and PP offerings often have better performance - kind of embarrassing for the big brands. I'm not overly worried how close they are, as long as they smell good, and as I tend to purchase things i've never smelt the original of, if I enjoy the PP, i'll seek out a sample of the original, often out of curiosity. Some solid choices in your 20. Love Genre Meeting, Pardoned and Lose Control. Also enjoy their versions of ADP Arancia di Capri, Kilian Black Phantom, Mancera Red Tobacco, TF Venetian Bergamot, Franck Boclet Cocaine and Creed's Virgin Island Water.

Pennine is a clone of Pegasus by perfumes de marly, not Carlisle. Excellent videos none the less.
I just bought a few oil fragrances from PP recently and would not comment on them yet (despite being very happy so far) as I would only say that it's better to let them rest a while. I bought the replicas of GIT and Le Male years ago and like them but the alcohol was too overwhelming and shadowing the smell. But after a couple of years (i mean really yearS), I reopened and sprayed them and they are beast mode. two spays are enough (we are in 2021 and the "best before date" on them is 2017) maybe it won't last long but it's really powerful with time. Being said I would still recommend to let them rest a couple of months better fully using them.
I found out, that when it comes to dupes, actually all of the reviewers in youtube who recommend them, forget to speak about the most important thing of all: the problem of these being extremely young, maybe created a few days ago. not all, but in some cases. when buying an original, the time these have been in storages alone makes a huge difference to dupes, which could be created a few days ago. so dupes, sometimes must be macerinated first. that explains the very different reviews and experiences of customers from dupes. it doesn't take years. they need a few sprays and maybe 4 weeks- they change in colour and the scent changes and becomes better.

I think you're right about the Layton hype Paul. Only have 3 from the list - Feve, Pardon and Reflection and can confirm that they're close. Actually have a card sprayed with their take on D&G Pour Homme sitting here on my desk and actually PREFER it over the current formulation in the drydown. Definitely a bit sweeter. Appreciate you sharing the lot!

@@magsfrags2020 You deserve the accolades Paul! Really reminds me of washing (laundry) powder that one. There were a few that I didn't manage to pick up while I had a contact in the UK - like Lost Cherry, Ambre Narguille and Baraonda - but only because they were out of stock. One day perhaps!

I have two xerjoff,mifesto and Naxos reps.
Both great, and like the original, which only have one off.
I have a avalanche, but the older batch I think.
Terre d'hermes dupe is good too.
I've had the original and it's pretty close, and drys down great.
Italian rawhide is a Tuscan leather dupe, one I'm not so keen on..
First spray of this, my husky was rubbing her head all over me, like they do with fox piss..🤣
I have the Dior homme rep and original..
That's a good match.
The PP seems to go a bit longer for me.
I have a few others too.
I actually only found PP a few months ago.
But it's a great way to find out what you like, before you take the plunge on the original.
Really think the creed Yorkshire one might have to be next, and being a Lancashire lad myself.

I be lost without Perfume Parlour. There version of Tom Ford lost cherry is just amazing as well as BR540 ❤️❤️
Check out Genre Parfums on Facebook. They do a copy of lost cherry and they call it black cherry. It’s absolutely amazing. It smells identical and it lasts twice as long as the Tom Ford original. 👌❤️❤️

Could you tell which better clones of Aventus did you try ? Im trying to find best from the best :) already tried Zara VL , Montblanc Explorer, Pocket Scent Imperious, Mancera Cedrat Boise.
Have you found anything yet? I got a sample of aventus because i was curious. Turned out it smells very similar to pp version. Less fruity and weaker but has a bit more of zing in it. But i still wouldn't pay 10 times the amount

I'm testing them both right now side by side. PP version is a bit sweeter and less defined in the opening. About an hour in, the PP version is much sweeter and more "round" and again, less defined, and much stronger on the projection. I like them both, but I can definitely smell a difference. The original is a bit more "serious" and the PP is a bit sweeter and leans a bit more feminine IMO.

Their Aventus clone has gone right down the drain, I got a bottle for xmas as a gift and it's almost non existent with what I can only describe as a sour milky note.
Undetectable on skin after only 1 hour, used to be my go to fragrance and it used to have better performance than creeds - I could smell it on my clothes a week after applying it. Whatever they've done to it has completely ruined it.
Some need to be macerated- try again around 4 weeks of purchase and do update us if it worked? Thanks

I've contacted perfume parlour about it and am waiting for a response.
@@mindyabizniss try the avelanch fruity ultra it's the most expensive one and strongest of the lot . It's off the charts £29 for the 60ml

I'm hesitant to pay out for it if it's going to smell like this damp/milky stuff I already have.
Right so I've heard back from PP after sending back a couple of bottles because they've changed the formula and it simply doesn't not smell anything like it used to, they seem to think there's nothing wrong with it which is ridiculous tbh.
I'm not the only one who has noticed the awful change that's been made to it there is reviews on their avalanche fruity page with other people saying the same thing.
