You guys inspired my family to go back to our roots. My mom grew up raising pigs and growing tomatoes so we’ve been focusing on that primarily for like 6 months now. Thank you. America needs to wake up. Soon.

You guys need to get ahold of a guy named Corbitt Wall if you want to get a cattle guy on. He does a market report for pretty much the entire U.S. He is sharp and shoots it straight! He is from Texas he would maybe make the trip. Look him up and you’ll be interested!

I’ve quickly become a fan of all things you boys do and can’t get enough of it… as a dairy farmer in southwest IL (just a few years younger than Tork) with 3 boys. I’d love to bring another generation home but can’t figure out how to make room for all them… pretty good sized integrator here in Carlyle, IL. I appreciate your open book on all things hogs

I’m sure that Tork will tell you everything need to know about raising hogs before you sign a contract with Maschoff’s! That could help ya bring on another generation!

Also I know you all touched on getting some more farmer grade partners this show, I don’t know how it’s work with packing and shipping but if you all got some farmers that did beekeeping and had canned Mason Jars of honey of farmers that had canned Mason jars of peppers, potatoes, green beans, salsas, produce, etc. then I’d bet you guys would take off. Some of the produce that’s canned has a multiple year shelf life, I know it’s kinda putting the cart in front of the horse but where I live there aren’t any farmers markets for over an hour and if you guys had more of the groceries available I’d definitely spend my money at farmer grade for more of my sides/other groceries rather than at the Walmart a couple towns over. The bacon was damn good, if you guys have more variety I’d bet a lot more of the boys would make farmer grade their 1 stop shop to order the majority of their groceries. Maybe I’m the minority but I think the majority of people would prefer to buy groceries from real people and help out thier fellow Americans over giving it to the Walmart family, which let’s face it they’re the Kardasians of the Midwest. Again don’t know if it’d even be profitable or doable but hey if you all get more options at farmer grade then I’d definatly buy more of my groceries from you guys

There is a great program in North Carolina that did a great job for us. They can stay all year if you can prove you have a job for them year round

I'm curious if your ever concerned about your integrator just building there own barns? It sounds like a decent gig with them shouldering most of the risk. Call me silly but generally the big brother downloads the risk to the little guy not the other way around....

The intergrater would have a lot more management responsibilities to take care of and would have to hire more labor and all the hoops that you have to jump through with that.

Yo boys I know you guys have gotten some jazz cats say “keep it about ag, leave the politics” but fuk all that noise, I come to the podcast to hear how other everyday jazz cats think about the shit that’s on most of our minds, I also come to give the podcast a listen when I need a laugh, Tork’s always got at least a handful of comedic gold sprinkled into each show. I guess this would be a request for a Q & A episode but what’re the odds 1-10 you all rip a segment on how the communists have been gaining ground and traction to infiltrate our country from within? It seems like it’s been more rapid when we had Clinton, especially Obama, and especially Joe Byron. And no that wasn’t a typo, it’s pronounced Byron, the dudes a facade like a Sasquatch. And just a suggestion, this would be a perfect 1st segment for the “Tin Foil Hat Segment brought to you by Reynolds Wrap”
You’d be fishing with dynamite, you jazz cats know what I’m sayin, let’s get the hot take, and let Tork cook

You can believe me, there is some real cringe moments watching barefoot guys sharpen their machete with an angle grinder, two guys holding the machete vertical on the ground then the third guy wield the grinder like the dude in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
