    I have 3 MH12, it's perfect for me who teach everyday. No matters if it's the entry level gi, it is a good choice.
    It's comfortable and wears fit. It's OK both for kata and kumite.
    The only problem is size. I'm 1,80 mt tall but I had to buy the 7, for people 1.95 tall.

      Many thanks for sharing! It is true that MH-12 shrinks more than other cotton dougi like MH-11 or MH-10 and it is important to consider it when picking your size.

    It was nice to see the 3 models stacked so we could see the difference in thickness. Also, it was really cool to see you wearing all of them.
    Thanks for the video.
    P.S.: I wonder what are the heights of the people in the video and the sizes of their gi. I noticed the "skirt" looked a bit short (to my preference) on the first person, while it looked perfect on the third one.

      Many thanks for your comment. I am glad to hear you found the video helpful 😊
      Unfortunately, I don’t know the heights of the different Karateka. But in my experience, HIROTA’s sizes and respective recommendation for which height they would be suitable are quite a good indicator. It is then necessary to check the measurements of the different sizes.

    Great video oss, I know that a WKF label is only available on the Tsubasa and Takumi gi but is the Hirota logo (under the collar and chest) available only for some or all Hirota gi?

    Hello, I'm trying to decide between the MH-11 and MH-12.
    I currently have two 11 oz gi which are considered to be "heavyweight" by the manufacturer (Kamikaze), and I want something lighter. It's too heavy for my liking. I want something "middleweight," compared to what I have now.
    I noticed that the MH-11 is considered to be "middleweight," but is also listed 11 oz.
    That said, if I get the MH 11, would I really be getting what I need, I should I go for the MH-12?

    • @AkitasDojo
      @AkitasDojo  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you for your comment and interest.
      The way the fabric of a Karate gi is woven and also the quality of the fibres can have quite some effect on how it feels when wearing the dōgi. Therefore, dōgi with the same oz. can feel very different.
      MH-11 has approx. 12 oz. MH-12 in comparison is much lighter... If you are looking for a light to "middleweight" model, you could also consider Pinack Kumite (11 oz.) which is one of my favourite models :-) If you want to find out more about Pinack: We have a video on the Pinack line in our Hirota playlist: ua-cam.com/video/691DtU5JPV8/v-deo.html
      Please let us know if you have any other question.

      Thank you for your interest in our video 😊
      My height is 170 cm and I wear size 4.5 (165 - 170) or size 5 (170 - 175) standard cut, depending on how I want my dōgi to fit. In this video, it is 4.5.

    quale è la differenza di tela MH10 . MH11 . MH12. Mi interesserebbe una tela media pesante per Kata. grazie

    • @AkitasDojo
      @AkitasDojo  Рік тому

      Thank you for your interest in our video 🙏 The difference is in the thickness of the material. In the video and on our website www.hirota-shop.com, you can find more detailed information. I would describe model MH-11 as medium weight.

    Which MH is best for Kata?

    • @AkitasDojo
      @AkitasDojo  Рік тому

      Thank you for your interest. People who are looking for a Kata Karate gi probably choose a heavier model like MH-10 or #163. But also the lighter Pinack Kata and Takumi are quite popular. After all, it is a matter of personal preferences. In our Hirota playlist, we have videos on all those models, please have a look: ua-cam.com/play/PLLjFavR2ceXdnucQQi-xAYk9I-nsN7g_Q.html
