  • We spent a day in the 8th arrondissement. Here’s what we found.
This video shows a walk through the Petit Palais and along the Pont Alexandre III bridge of the 8th arrondissement. The audio is an Earful Tower podcast episode from the Paris Countdown season, where hosts Oliver and Lina spent 24 hours in each Paris arrondissement.
This season's sponsor @LivTours offers more than 30 tours and experiences in and around Paris. Their tour groups are small - max 6 people - or private and their guides are top-rated. They cover everything from the Pere Lachaise Cemetery to food tours of the Marais, but even day trips to Versailles, Giverny, and Champagne.

Thoroughly enjoyed your stroll through the 8e. I especially enjoyed the account of your dinner at Maxim. I went there a few years ago w my father-in-law, and it was exactly as you described - a bit funereal but elegant.
