This looks like 304 stainless steel. I remember when I used to work out of a shop in Pittsburg. Do you know where that's it? It's in PA, for those who don't know that means Pennsylvania. I would teach all the new rookie scrubs and sometimes people who have been working there for over 15+ years, on how to make similar parts. Everyone from the shop would gather around to watch me work, some even with tears in their eyes. They've never seen anything like it!
Your holding it wrong for your second operation. It must be a 1 off, otherwise you should have chosen longer jaws to hold on the larger diameter, this will enable you to increase your depth of cut, otherwise it will take forever.
@@Point001Machinist @jasonthompson514 yea I thought it was pretty obvious that you were running with no coolant just so you could record. I caught that right away. Not all machinists have that keen eye. Nobody has a keen eye better than me!

@@jasonthompson514 I’m using ID jaws. Running a canned cycle but lowered doc so I could record with no coolant.
@@Point001Machinist yep I saw 👀 you gripping on the inside. What was the DOC. And was the material steel. What’s the speeds and feeds?
@@jasonthompson514 for the vid I dropped it to .06 federate of .012 but I normally run .100 doc and feed rate of 13 and s500
