Great video! I’m new to warhammer and my first army is the GK so I’m loving this channel, quick question. So all strats on this detachment cost 1 cp opposed to some costing 2cp in the old one, would it still be worth bringing an inquisitor coteaz for the extra cp shenanigans or are points too tight and better spent elsewhere?
For clarity, do you have to be within or wholly within 6" of the purifiers to benefit from hit re-roll? I think it's wholly within but I heard someone say it's just within so I'm doubting myself
Don't sleep on brochamp with 10 man strike. DS within 6 inches makes this a psudo draigo unit (charging on a 6). I think slamming this fights first unit into things will be pivitol
Great video, as usual! Do we think this is stronger than index? Im starting to think it might very well be, though it will take me some time to let go of mists
I dont get why people run grandmasters with 10man paladins, why not run brother captain. Sustained hits, full reroll of all psychic weapons and now you can give them stealth for 15 points so they are -1 to hit and -1 to wound to stuff tougher than them
The key wording here is "Each time a Grey Knight unit makes an attack", emphasis on "Each time". Every single attack dice roll you make is its own instance, regardless the amount of attacks you make. You COULD, for example, roll each of your four shots from storm bolter one after another, thus re-rolling any 1s you'd get.
Don't defend the strats. Strats are crap detachment rule is carrying this re roll wounds is the only good one. Very rarely will 4+ invul be better than just popping go to ground
Grey Knights are so back! What a fantastic Detachment, there is use for almost every unit in there

@@sai_yonara7987 yes and no. Depends if you go into armies that get CP regularly. Right now it's guard, maybe necrons, eldar, orks.
My buddy has been playing Necrons so with his imotek coteaz has been a permanent inclusion in my army 😂
@sai_yonara7987 yes, at a RTT or gt he might come up 1-2 times. His ability works in reserves as well.
Looks awesome! Need the range refresh now...
The point cost of Purifiers is about to skyrocket....
40 pts, you could bring the minustorum priest

Sorry just getting to this. work. thanks

there is so many things in the game that lower your to hit AP or damage. Grandmaster prevents that. making them a good counter towards those units.
You mentioned interceptors jumping in and out of rhinos. Is that something that they do in one turn or over two turns

@@40kDirtbags would you break it down on how that works plz? I feel like I'm missing a ruling. Also does it have to be interceptors only?

@@40kDirtbags oh. I see now thanks a bunch. Just started slowly building up a GK army, and after seeing this new detachment I'm very excited
Isn't it just 're roll a (single) hit roll of 1? or is it re roll a (all) hit rolls of 1 - as they are technically Done one after the other..?

Other detachment is not fire it's effective but based around not engaging with the opponent and focusing on mission. very boring
Dude did we read the same detachment? It’s all about being aggressive and killing with easy access to rerolls
