That’s great, except for the scar. If someone asks you to remove a scar, please just do it. You have no idea what that scar represents and how painful of a memory it can be to have to see it everyday. If she wants that scar removed in a photo, do it. She deserves to be able to look at a photo of herself that doesn’t constantly remind her of her pain and if she’s bold enough to ask you to remove it, it’s probably for a good reason and it should be removed since 1. It’s her body and her pictures and she should be allowed to have them the way she wants and 2. It could technically be covered up mostly by makeup so if she was proud of the scar (for instance, some people who have given kidneys to loved ones to save their lives love their scars because it represents a true act of love and sacrifice) she probably wouldn’t ask you to cover it in the first place. If she’s asking, there might be a deeper reason that she shouldn’t be forced to disclose with her photographer. But as far as morphing body parts, that’s great that you remind them that everyone knows what they look like and too much photoshop is so painfully obvious. I personally don’t mind if a photographer provides minor photoshop if that’s what the client wants and I’d only wanna work with a photographer that respects that, but I can also respect if a photographer just doesn’t feel right about doing that, especially if it’s something really major.

People aging is natural. People don't expect a fifty-year-old to look like a teenager. Learn to be happy with yourself. Also for the first one, the right side looks better to me. A teenager with a full sleeve of tattoos just looks out of place. Plus she looks happier in the right one. You can see smile lines and her actual face. Plus the arm color and texture didn't match her face and neck on the left side. Please learn that social media is fake and that you are beautiful. Please know that! Not to mention how often beauty standards change and how the current one in so unachievable and how they are messed up in general. Freckles which I was bullied for are now trendy. Black women's lips were made fun of (and still are) yet big Bratz lips and filler is sought after. Asian eyes (which I was also bullied for, though I'm not even fully Asian) and Asians in general were also made fun of and mocked but now fox eyes and slanted eyes are what people want and Japanese culture is obsessed over. Not to mention the racism against not only Blacks and Asians but so many minorities specifically in America is still very present today while "the look" is praised unless it's on them. It's almost as if nothing is pretty until white women decide it is... Also I'm not trying to get political or anything. Please just try to educate yourself about beauty standards and learn to love yourself and your appearance. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
So true about tattoos. They make fabric tattoo sleeves for babies and toddlers now, and some people love them. But I find the effect kind of... creepy? Or strange, I guess?
While people aging is normal and beautiful, unfortunately, people do expect a fifty-year-old to look like a teenager. Because very few "popular" social media accounts post unaltered photos of themselves society has become accustomed to the lies and accepts them as reality. While at the same time casting stones when the truth comes out and labeling these people as "catfishing". Ya can't win
It's a privilege to age. Ageism is a prejudice just like racism and its often coupled with misogyny A total disregard towards older women. Influencers who do perfume reactions May dislike a scent will say 'omg!' 'It smells like an old lady.' Or 'Its an old lady smell'. Really? No wonder these middle-age & up women feel they cannot be successful if they aren't looking artificially younger with a distorted figure. One day humans will look back on this era and wonder if a collective mental illness swept the world!
@@InservioLetum I believe that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We don’t need to hide behind a false rhetoric all the time. 🌻 Like I said, aging is a part of life. It’s something we shouldn’t need to feel insecure about.
The first one...Let's just call it like it is. She has an issue with getting old and is getting her ego boost by posing as a REALLY young version of herself. That's a psychological issue. Especially because she actually is a very attractive older woman.
@@suonatar1 Let's not do that. Euphemisms aren't cute nor helpful. Besides, that would imply that getting old is a bad thing, which is exactly what is causing her to do this disturbing thing here. Getting old is a privilege denied to many, so it's time to treat it as such. A privilege. Embrace it.
@@Biestle I don't see anything wrong in using euphemisms, if they are used in good intentions. In fact euphemisms often cause our language to evolve. Besides I don't think you can call that woman old. Older than you, perhaps. "Old woman" for me is someone around 65 yo, not 47-55. It's not going to be a euphemism, if I say "She's mature, not old", especially when she looks like that.
@@suonatar1 Firstly, I called her "older", which she is. Secondly, you're telling me what I can and cannot not call her based on how YOU perceive her. Let's not do that either. As far as language evolving due to euphemisms, I doubt that's the case. All it does is shift the meaning of words over time and who really benefits from that? If a word makes one so uncomfortable, the issue is within the person, not the word, and the person benefits from addressing said issue more so than changing out a word.

Not shading anyone here, but I’ve seen so many men in their 50’s on UA-cam disparaging women in their 50’s, stating that we are old, fat, wrinkled, used up and not sexually attractive, and bragging about dating women in their 20’s because they can. Some ladies are made to feel insecure about the attitudes these men have, and try to make themselves look younger. It’s sad to see the affect this has on women. I’m quite okay with my age, and am happy on my own. If someone comes along that enhances my life, great. If he doesn’t come along, I’m fine with that too.
@@monicamclaughlin3494 I have nothing against men in 50s dating a woman in her 20s as long they are on the same page and of course single. If the woman is aware on what she's going to expect in this relationship, that's her decision. There are attractive, intelligent men in 50s, and I wouldn't mind dating them casually. I got em & I love them. Shows I've lived a life. My hands have wrinkles - they remind me that I've tenderly cared for children, held an elderly woman's hand as she died, kayaked in the sun & rain, played with my long gone pets, cleaned, cooked, held my head in my hands in both laughter & sobbing. They are reminders of precious things that I never want to forget

2:44 holy Tim Burton what is that... Anyway though, that first lady was a beautiful older woman. I don't even want to get into the main controversy of it but she's beautiful unfiltered, imo even more so
Lol I have a submission in Urban Dictionary called Fakenstein. It's not about photoshopping though, its about some women having so many implants, extenstions and 20 layers of makeup that they're 80% fake parts.
1st is really sad because she's so beautiful as she is; tattoos, hair, everything. Like the aging down stuff is so unnecessary when people would kill to age like her.
The reality TV lady at 8:08 is no secret. That's Liberty from the currently showing UK version of Love Island. She's incredibly sweet and likeable and the snap picture of her at the bottom doesn't do her justice - though the top pic doesn't look anything like her at all.
Love it that Charlotte wouldn't disclose the first lady's username because she's already been shamed a lot! that's the difference between Charlotte and other reaction videos! it's so easy for reaction videos to add to the hate which people are receiving. We're all conditioned to aim for high 'societally accepted' norms of beauty and maybe they photoshop also to fit in. They might already have insecurities and just ensuring that they don't receive additional hate which is likely to affect their mental health is just such a Boss move! Love you for your ethic, Charlotte!!! :)
I'm sorry, but if she had strong ethics she wouldn't post a video dragging other humans. We all have a certain line we draw, it doesn't make anyone a saint.
Hey everybody! I love hearing that, because it means I'm about to laugh. Edit: Why would you Photoshop yourself to look like a new sub-set of human? It's so weird.🤯
@Leonie You mean categorizing it as a type of fraud? Part of me says yes, another part has doubts. As if she gives ppl a dream girl with the difference of not disclosing it's fake AF
The first photo is just sad. I don't see how that's healthy to photo shop yourself 20 years younger than you actually are on a regular basis it's like she can't accept the fact that she's not 20. She is actually an attractive woman and would most likely do very well on her only fans account if she were being real with how she looks. If you were to take the picture on the left and set that as a dating profile picture just to have her show up being much older than she portrays it would definitely be cat fishing. I hate how women have been objectified to the point of being told that if you're over the age of 35 you don't have value-it's simply not true. I wish we had more women out here normalizing aging and showing that you can be beautiful at any age.
1st one: The way this older woman(40?) makes herself look like she's 15 is really creepy to me. I'm sure young boys message her. If she plays along, that's uber creepy. It feels a bit pedo to me. Anyone else think so?
It's designed to reinforce the lie of choice. You're BORN attracted to a certain species, you're BORN attracted a particular sex, but you CHOOSE to be attracted to children. Pedo's can't help their sexual orientation any more than gays or straight people can. It's not a choice. Acting on impulses, THAT is a choice. Choosing to forego the law in favour of personal gratification, THAT is a choice. What you're saying when you say "pedo" with the cringey association you add, is actually "rapist". Homo doesn't mean diseased, pedo doesn't mean rapist. Just let humans be humans and lay off with the labels ffs. It's exhausting.
@@InservioLetum and just because she altered her photo doesn't mean she is getting ready to hit on a child. This is an absurd assumption sense a lot of men and women do this just to make money off there pictures. She may of even made it out of insecurity but she didn't exactly hide her real age. If she did she would just have the altered photo up and not put up her real photo next to it. She actually looked hotter when she got older anyways. Her net worth would actually be higher at this point if she is a model making money off her pictures it might have even been a gift for her husband.
The first woman is absolutely beautiful as she is (and still her real photo was also with the perfect make up and lighting, so not 100% genuine). She could have a huge following even without creating a character. I understand what she says about art, but it's still a damaging image to give.
"You don't need photoshop" But I use it for my digital paintings :( Jokes aside, the first case is just... sad. Yes. It's real sad how people can't even age in peace. Kudos on the good photoshop work, though, she did it well at least.
Idk if it's the same in other architecture schools, but me and my classmates can always tell which digital rendering belongs to who, because we sort of have our signature mix of sky background, texture, people cutouts, plants, birds, etc. Kinda like that landscape photographer at 3:38 😂
Surely, I have sections of images I've collected over the years that I can put into "bland spots" in sky etc. They are all images I shot myself. This pick from a rights free image bank has killed real creativity.
They get lost in the editing that they don't know they've gone too far. I will admit I saw an older woman the other night with black hair and GRAY highlighted strands and I thought it was beautiful! If it was natural and she added color, It looked gorgeous.
It is kind of sad that people do this. It makes people think that they have a much higher bar or make it over. I've been married for 24 years now and my beautiful wife never needed makeup. Now I'm old and fat and she has wrinkles, but we earned them together!

I’m glad 🙂 I was an artist from a young age and can tell when women use makeup or photoshop. I remember at age 15 asking my friends why this girl had no texture or light difference in her pics they said it’s concealer, I responded with what is she concealing that she’s an ogre 👹. Lol 😂
I'm 37 and what I hate the most about online dating is that men in my age range will use pictures of themselves from when they were in their 20's. I hate it so much, lol.
Oh sister women do it too & way more often. Seriously online dating is garbage there's no quality there for either men or women. You want to meet someone you better put on your walking shoes & hit the streets. Get friends/coworkers to set you up, & here's the thing you're probably gonna hate the most you're actually gonna have to go up to guys now. Too many guys have had bad run ins with women, literally just going up to say hi & have them scream at us that we're being creepy & sexually harassing them, even saw a friend literally get maced because he tried to talk to woman for 2 seconds to give her back something she dropped. Don't believe me ask any single guy you know about his horror stories. There's a reason why more & more of us are walking away from dating & relationships. I encourage women to do dating apps for one month as a guy (both as a really hot guy & as an average guy) just to see what we're up against & why you maybe seeing a noticeable downturn in decent prospects. Good luck out there, if you're a good woman with good sense, realistic expectations & actual self respect then you're gonna need it.
So annoying when you meet them irl they have no hair and look nothing like their pic. Goes for both gender but men for sure post pics from their youth instead of current age. Such a waste of time. Post recent, realistic pic, be upfront with your info you list i.e your profession, martial status, and don't waste anyone's time. That's my opinion no wonder why people hate using online dating

Of course there are literally thousands of photographers who will do that, and I don't go about telling others what to do or how they should photograph, so they are absolutely welcome to do that.
THANK you. I used to do retouching, and I couldn't BELIEVE what people wanted and thought might be possible. My favorite was the woman who had an old, OLD glass neg of a portrait. The emulsion was practically gone from the face, so she wanted Grandma's face painted back in. Because my boss couldn't say no to anyone, we tried it. Of course it looked nothing like Grandma, there's a shock, because we had no idea what Grandma looked like, and the client was OFFENDED at our failure. An hour of my life I'll not retrieve...
Right? Her natural picture was way more beautiful :)

The first woman was beautiful, I don't see a reason to edit herself to look 30 years younger. Aging is a part of life, and we should embrace it!
Exactly she s so hot for her age
Are you going to pretend the woman's creation isn't AT LEAST as stunning as the artist herself?
It's a privilege to age.
Ageism is a prejudice just like racism and its often coupled with misogyny
A total disregard towards older women.
Influencers who do perfume reactions
May dislike a scent will say 'omg!' 'It smells like an old lady.' Or
'Its an old lady smell'.
Get Real, Her "real" self doesn't sell as well. It's all about the money and the influence to her.
The first one...Let's just call it like it is. She has an issue with getting old and is getting her ego boost by posing as a REALLY young version of herself. That's a psychological issue. Especially because she actually is a very attractive older woman.
I would say she's a mature woman, not "older" woman.
Embrace it.
I know right she's gorgeous
I remember many, many ,many years ago when people were concerned about "Barbie" creating an unrealistic body type for girls to live up to, I foolishly thought: She's just a doll, no one wants to look like that....

If he doesn’t come along, I’m fine with that too.
men in their 50s dating women who are young enough to be their granddaughters? yikes. they sound less like "men" and more like habitual predators 🤨🤢🤮
@@monicamclaughlin3494 I have nothing against men in 50s dating a woman in her 20s as long they are on the same page and of course single. 1st one:
The way this older woman(40?) makes herself look like she's 15 is really creepy to me.

That was my first thought, she seeks the attention from the young bucks and its very creepy.
I agree with u
Yes. It bothered me A LOT. There are many layers as to why this is a problem for society, and I'll leave it at that.

@@bhart3321 what a whole lot of words to say “but woman Do it toO!”
It’s not a competition and you’re doing no one justice with the tit for tat essays
@@bhart3321 This is true sadly.
Love your hair, it looks amazing!
The video editor (Kelly Paoli) put "Mad Madam Mim" flying past on her broom and now has my eternal gratitude. Sword in the Stone circa 1963, we salute you.
In my country (Indonesia) , we called her Madam Mikmak 😃
Totally agree with Charlotte, you’re beautiful just as you are. I've never used a dating app or even seen one in reality, but what I’ve seen of them on Charlotte's channel I don’t like them.
this video was so funny, I spit on myself!
7:08 them are some freaky fingers lmfao
Character she "created", huh?
Sure, I'm the freaking space pope.
Omg I am loving this ! 1 video I am sold ! Was having a bad day . I
Have major depression. Thank u 🙏🏼 for being me my first big loud laugh today ! Xo 😘 I am feeling better
Dear society, Charlotte says your beauty standards are weird. That is all.
Because they are.
I concur 😊
The girl that you said has a BBL went to my high school. Her body is actually like that. She’s super sweet and beautiful.
Oh no! That's why I dislike using people's pics without permission
Lol it’s a BBL. Her bellybutton isn’t normal.
Nah that shit is fake. Her belly button doesn’t look real at all.
Love your channel.. you deserve so much more subscribers.. wish you millions more 🙏💗
The first woman doesn't need to change anything... she's GORGEOUS as is.
It just screams insecure. The more photoshop, the more insecure. And, depending what they edit the most, everyone gets to know what they’re most insecure about.
The funny part about people taking deceptive photos is that they expect the person that goes on a date with them to except them genuinely
Hey everybody was said with some chest today. Boom it was like “hey” from the soul.
There is the post card company that used the same SKY in 1000's of postcards for Decades!
You are so funny. I am loving this. Keep it real. Wonderful job Charlotte. You go girl!
Who desperately needs petty merch? I’m feelin’ REALLLL petty these days 😏
👀
Yahy
I think petty thoughts but never act on it.... however a shirt would make me happy! Lol
