As someone who worked several years as a journalist, it's so frustrating to see all of this aggregating of stories going on. I read various media, but I have seen the same thing. One story will be made into dozens of stories by different media organizations, same exact statements with just a few changed words. The laziness of these media operations makes it extremely easy to gaslight the people with misinformation. But you know, journalists are not journalists anymore. They are not after the truth, they are just after clicks. It will get worse and worse, as AI takes over "writing" the "News".

They make it so hard to believe ANYTHING that is reported. Everybody has to fact check everything because, sadly, anybody can roll out of bed and be a "journalist" today. Essence published an article about an article about a report I did! No one bothered to reach out to me or anyone associated with my report. I just don't understand why they are not being critical thinkers and a credible source about what they are reporting on. And, let me also mention that the writing that is published is horrible. What kind of editor is allowing some of these terribly written and inaccurate reports to be published?
