My husband incorporates Daito Ryu Jujitsu counter-grappling into his Kali instruction, making my Kali methods much more efficient y powerful against stronger males. We also incorporate Gracie ground-escapes in case of attack while sleeping or a worst case scenario have to escape ground to access our blade. We say Apache knife tactics are more efficient for concealable blade but Kali is best for large jungle machete knife.
