The wonderful thing about Sigrid is that she sounds as good live as she does when you watch one of her music videos. She has such a beautiful, unique voice and she seems so down to earth and such a nice you woman. She deserves the very best in life and all the wonders it has to bring.
I break down and cry every time I see this video. Not only is Sigrid a national treasure to Norway but she is a treasure to the world. I have seen Sigrid sing "Home to You" in different venues. This particular one is her best. I can't get over how she hit a home run on this one. I literally fall off my chair because I'm sobbing uncontrollably. I don't get how one human being can perform so well.
She's just as comfortable doing soft modern classic influenced, as Electronica like "Sucker Punch". Hard to believe such a strong voice can come from such a young gal. She's Beauty personified.
Hallo Sigrid, you should make a cover of "She's Leaving Home" by The Beatles. All Sigrid-Fans will love it. And all Beatles-Fan will love it. Together they are many fans.
Just watched this again. Painfully beautiful, and 99% perfect delivery. Is this a shift to Adele-Lund ballads? Liked the direct simplicity of the lyrics, wonder how it sounds in new 🇳🇴 or old 🇮🇸, as Alesund doesn't seem to have taken sides yet. Old 🇦🇱, 🇮🇪, 🇵🇹, 🇳🇺 Anglia 🆚 🇬🇧, I mean.
@@paulburnett3490 It's refreshing, isn't it, that new artists can appear to emerge from nowhere (I know there is a lot of graft, and a tight Team, in reality) to hit the stage 'fully formed', if surprisingly short for a Viking, but that never stopped Lulu. I heard her on the radio, then just happened to catch the Graham Norton show where at the end of the performance Norton just reeled backwards and said 'Wow', and the Zeitgeist was captured in that small moment, I feel. With C-19 shredding live performances, in trad settings, the idea of C-grid at Hillsborough and Annfield stadium 🏟 seems more viable than ever - if Sheffield and Liverpool can 🚶 as one again.
Sigrid may be short for a Viking but look at the pluses: a superb voice, fully demonstrated in her live performances; lots of energy around the stage (a free spirit); so humble, friendly and appreciative of her audiences. I do wonder if, with covid 19 round, we will ever see her again on the world stage again: I can see her disappearing back into Norway with her skiing and hiking and concentrating on song writing. Sadly, I think it will be two to three years at best before we get back to somewhere near 'normality' but with massive changes to businesses, shops, theatres and venues. Best wishes for the future. Take care.
This is so beautiful 😭❤️ I remember when I saw her performance of Dynamite with an orchestra at the Nobel Peace Prize Contest, it was so heart touching and I cried. This carries the same feeling, it's such a spectacular performance and it really awakes something inside of me 😂, it's just sooooo beautiful! ❤️
@@SantaCecilie oh, is it? I've heard of them before as well I think. They sure add that unique "extra touch" to Sigrid's music 😊 I'll check them out again later, thanks for reminding me of them haha
@@aBunnyThatWillChewOnYourCables Yes, they are the orchestra of the Norwegian state-TV channel NRK (an equivalent of the BBC philharmonics). An extremely good and versatile orchestra 😊.

OMG 💚. There will be a queue, from Liverpool, to that wee place outside Bergen, all wanting to take up that offer! 😂 😂 😂 😂
Beatles Town, to pick up the point made below.

If only she would: I can dream, can't I! Seriously, I am running out of superlatives to describe her singing: magnificent.

ok
i agree
I very much agree with this statement
What a way to destroy the performance with an awful sound quality. Huge disappointment
