I was going for a completely different vibe and had most of the edit done and ready to put in some of the ep 7 stuff but then she pulled ThAt shiz on us that evil mf (she’s my fave character tho lol but also I feel so bad for the monkey) and I’m kinda shocked but not surprised at all, I guess I should read the books next time so i know what’s coming haha. Anyway I don’t think the song fits anymore I actually don’t like this edit but I’m doing another one that hopefully I’ll like more (if u don’t see it, that means it failed), I just think this one isn’t emotional enough and it seems all over the place so soz for that but I’m probs the only one who can tell and this took ten hours to do as well and the only break I had was to go to sleep but I have to say I love editing and those ten hours felt like three.

I wish the author didn’t make Lyra hate her mother so much..it’s clear that her mother loves her. Her father killed her best friend and yet she still looks for him, while she avoids her mother. Doesn’t make sense.
Yh it’s a complicated relationship an I’m reading the third book and I really want Lyra and her mother to just get along so bad. BUt also Mrs. Coulter wants to stop Lyra from fulfilling the prophecy which is like what the whole thing is about so really she is bad bc I feel like if they trusted her she’d end up turning against them again.

Even if it wasn't what you were initially going for, I quite like the song paired with these two. There's a sometimes creepy dissonance going on between the clips, dialogue, and music that I really like (especially with the ending).
