My mom got a Guinea pig for my 4 year old brother . Worst mistake my mother and him don’t really know how to clean it daily , feed him , but thank god I took over and I came across some of your videos!!! I hated seeing my mom not caring for it so I stepped up to make a good living habitat for him !!!
It's great how you educate people about a species-appropriate attitude, it's so important! Many people totally underestimate the way you should care for piggies. Here in Germany, the prices in pet shops have doubled or even tripled since the corona pandemic in order to avoid impulsive purchases!
That's not the reason the prices have raised. Corporate greed and supply chain issues are. Lmao

My Guinea pigs love the tube that the Guinea Dad pee pads come in! Paisley runs laps through it every time I put it in there.
You should personalize your products by writing a customer’s piggie’s name at an extra cost ofc
Make sure that you take the loofah off of that oxbow toy. I had it for my pigs and I put it in water to test if it would expand and it did a lot! Just trying to help 💛
Yeah loofa is actually quite dangerous for small pets 🙁

i just stumbled across this channel from my youtube recommendations, i know nothing about guinea pigs. biggest exposure to them was that g force movie by disney. which i doubt is very accurate… anyways i love this channel! learning so much about guinea pigs and you are just really fun and interesting to watch! stay epic !

Gosh the fabric is so much more affordable in the US than Australia 🥺 1 metre which is just under 1 yard, is between $18-$24. The toggle bath mats are my go-to!

On time I went to Petsmart and they don’t normally have Guinea pigs there but I saw one and it made me so sad. For starters she had no friends, which is both bad and good, bad because all Guinea pigs should have some form of social interaction with another piggy (a cage mate or being able to see and hear another piggy through the bars of a cage), but good because Petsmart doesn’t do a bonding process so the piggies there always end up fighting, which could end up being severely harmful or fatal if the dominance isn’t determined early on, which most likely wouldn’t happen. Petsmart workers also don’t take note of which piggies are bonded, so they could get separated, which would lead to a VERY sad piggy. Second, the cage was WAY to small, probably only 2 square feet. It also was made fully of plexiglass, like a fish tank, which would trap the odors of the piggy in the cage which could kill her. Lastly, She wasn’t receiving a proper diet and care because she had barley any hay, but it did look like she had the right brand of food, which was unfortunately surprising. I’m happy that other pet owners also find similar problems with Petsmart.

Wow, I literally just found your channel. I'm a huge guinea pig person and I love making my own fleece pads, liners, tunnels and cozy sacks. Love watching your love for the piggies.
I was at petsmart around Black Friday and there were 3 pigs in one of their glass cages. I went back the next day or day after and all 3 were gone. I immediately was nervous that they went to people who aren’t educated in guinea pigs 😩 I hope they are okay
You can add a suction cup under your machine and it’ll stay still.
Also cuts are why you keep your hand fully on top of the quilting ruler.
It helps avoid spilling blood.

Hey!! I have to make guinea pigs and I’m not 100% sure what the minimum C&C cage size is for them I asked guinea pig jungle and she said to come to you :)

I remembered going to PetSmart to get some more pellets garden select oxbow cause i was running low and it takes a week and half if i buy it online. Saw a dad and son getting guinea pigs and my soul shattered when they got them a smallll hamster cage that is not even appropriate for a Syrian hamster or any hamster at all and a bird food 😭 I really wanted to say something but the dad was too aggressive on me when i tried to say that they are buying the wrong stuff for their pigs so i gave up saying and convincing it to them and whats more worse the cashier let them buy it during check out and made me look bad for saying something…. That broke my heart leaving PetSmart and started crying in my car

Green peppers are in short supply where I live lately. My boys really don't like yellow or red. They eat, maybe, half the amount of red and yellow. Green is their favourite, by far.

I really want to make a bigger cage for my piggies.... but I cant find a good kind of grids, like its so hard to find good ones that arent like, 70 dollars.
I love the black Friday sale they always have buy one get one on hay. It's the best stock up I can get for my pigs and toys. They had the clothes on sale this year and my dog can't stand the cold or the wet now he has a snow suit. The mom and pop places around me I shop the rest of the year cause they have for ever # you buy you get one free, but they don't sell snow coats and sweaters (my cat loves the sweaters)

I'm a mom of 5 piggies (3 girls and 2 boys) and I have a difficult time finding stuff/decoration to their cages because I live in Portugal and there's not many stores with guinea pig stuff or even online store, so, when I order online is kinda expensive, but I will take a look on your Etsy!

I’m 12. I take care of twelve rabbits. I’m allergic to their bedding and the gloves don’t help. There is no more bedding without pine. What should I do. But. As long as your responsible you may breed any animal.
I literally hate petco and petsmart. If you watch my most recent video I hated on them too lol. I went there for toys and the pigs were in the smallest “tank” and the bigger one was wide open. They had no hay and I told the people working there that they needed hay. They were also advertising a “Guinea pig cage” and it was so sad and disgusting. You would think that they would learn by now what proper care looks like. Great video!! 🥰

That is realy bad putting the price of pets down near Christmas, here in England at pet's at home they put up the prices to make sure people are serious about owning a pet.They also ask you lot's of questions before letting you buy a pet.
Get a shark vaccum! It's so great for dog hair and small pellets! I swear, I'm also very allergic to dander and none of it seaps out. They aren't to bad at Walmart. But probably cheaper at target. 🥰
i made a crochet blanket and i was wondering if i could use it for my pigs?
Yes you can use it for them but they may destroy it and also it would have to be washed regular and it will probably be damaged with that as there more Delicate than normal fleece

Ok so I’ve been watching yours and Alyssas videos for days because I really want to adopt a pair of piggies and I’ve only had one when I was like 4 yrs old. I’m 28 and I had no idea so much went into them, I think we had ours in a large bunny cage when I was little? So I’m going to actually build their home/cage before I actually get pigs and try to find a rescue instead of buying at pets mart. I live in a secluded area so it’s a long drive to anywhere (I’ve already looked for rescues and they are 3-4 hrs away but I may be about to find fosters in my area). I’m lucky to have a friend who rescues animals so she has some info for me… But my point was to say I LOVE your celestial style pads! Omg! (Im a solitary witch) will be buying stuff from you in the future!
What kind of fleece do use for your fleece products? I used to use only antipill plush fleece, but I'm trying out blizzard. Is there anything else that is also good? Like polar fleece?
I use anti-pill fleece for all of my products. I am not a huge fan of blizzard as it looks duller in color and is low pile. The anti-pill is sooo much softer and luxurious in my opinion 😊

I had a guinea pig he was really cool he was all brown but he had white in his chest and his forehead his name was Taz I had him for 6 years he was a really good guinea pig his friend died before he did the his name was spots he was black and white

Can I order from your Etsy shop while living in the Netherlands, and are the extra costs that I get because you're not in an European country included or do they surprise me when it arrives in the Netherlands?
Also, we never buy animals from a store, always from a breeder where we can see the living condition from the animals... because we find that those animals most often have a better life than store animals. The health issue cases that we've had were always on store animals... I cannot understand how stores dare to sell an animals with sale because of black friday...
Here in Australia there's states that do not allow animals to be sold in pet shops, only fish. They do well selling food and other items for pets instead.

I have 3 female guinea pigs (they pretty much live in a castle that is way more room than needed so dw) but I use carefresh bedding in my cages all over. Is that okay for the pigs? I have been doing it for years and never had a issue but would they prefer a blanket liner?

IDK why but i felt like saying my naboor has 2 piggies (guinea pigs) and has a midwest cage and they are very nice but not todally edgacaded onlly a little more then a bit and the owner amy said that i can have them if i can beacuse her and her kids lost intrest in them.. and i have a guinea pig (willow) and she is alone beacuse she dosent get along whith other piggies so i am trying to convince my mom to let me adopt the 2 piggies amy owns so one they can have a bigger cage and two willow can have a freind im planning on doing this if my mom allowes me to adopt them and give willow a freind: i want to take willows c and c cage i have now and put a cage fit for 2 piggies next to it and put glass in the middle of the two cages so willow can see them but not hurt them or steel the food/hay and then have the 2 piggies in the other cage next to her! i really hope my mom will let me beacuse i would love to improve Amy's (my naboror's) piggies lives and willows (my piggie) wish me luck on this jurney!
