This is the first film from Lee Jong Gi that I accidentally watched a few years ago on UA-cam, I was curious about the title so I watched it. My first impression of this film was that it was a pretty interesting story with a sad ending. I just finished watching the last episode of K-drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and I wonder if he's the same person? because his face is so familiar. then I searched on google earlier it turned out that he was Lee Jong Gi who played in the movie The King and the Clown. Even though I was late, and just enjoyed his acting in these two scenes, it seems like now I will become his fan

This scene was not on the script so he did not expect it. He just stayed quiet so that it will not ruin the scene. Only the director and the actor who played the king knew about this.

Lee Joon Gi didn't know the king was going to kiss him and I think he was really shocked . ***On the KBS 2TV program "Seung Seung Jang Goo" on the 19th, 2011, Director Lee Joon-ik said: "Their kiss scene wasn't in the script. It was only to touch forehead to forehead but they kissed. At that moment, the feeling between attachment and obsession between Yeon San and Gong Gil was conveyed all through that one cut". On the other hand Jung Jin-young (the actor who played the King) explained: "I remember different. In the script it said 'stare at each other' and I had already spoken to the director about the kiss scene". When Director Lee Joon-ik asked him ''Then why did you kiss him?'', Jung Jin-young said, "I've wanted to try it for a while. It's not like I didn't tell the director about it". However, he said he couldn't tell Lee Joon-gi about it. Jeong said, "I couldn't tell Lee Joon-gi. I just said, 'whatever I do, don't tease me and just let it by'". I tend to believe that the Director really didn't know what Jung Jin-young was going to do. Lee Joon Gi was incredible beautiful as Gong-gil but even so that guy has no excuse for what he did. How to do something like this unless you have the partner's consent ? That's kind of kinky😠

@@lori4021 Lee Joon Gi was trained in Taekwando since his childhood by his father and I think this helped him to restrain themselves. That's why for few seconds he didn't react at all(we're talking about this on other video 😃)... trying not to do or say something that could ruin the work of the whole team(as we know, he has an great sense of responsibility) ...and probably he hopped the director will delete that kiss. Well...the director didn't delete it...If the kiss wasn't in the script that means it wasn't necessary for the movie's plot ...so the director let it in for a bigger commercial success .
