I've played through half of sekiro and for me it was pretty easy, I think coming from elden ring DS3 feels very slow and easy to predict what the enemies are gonna do
i would recommend doing the tree jump, there is a ring for gaining more souls and an estus shard also more if you trade various items with the pumarump. tree is lcoated outside the shrine at 2nd floor

@@SteeleStrife it’s not terrible but vordts hammer and the curse rotted greatwoods hollowslayer are ironically 2 of the best boss weapons in the game. It’s definitely still an extremely fun weapon because of the moveset though
