It's definitely more than the t7, the Manuel says every 600 miles, which guys seem to be going 1500 miles plus for oil changes. Many guys are sending in their oil samples to Blackstone labs and say they can go much much longer. I will do my first one at 600 and then probably every 1000 after that. I've seen guys with over 50,000 miles on these now and many with over 30-40k miles with no issues, so it seems to be very reliable!
Mfg Part #: 8466400001 just so you know, none of them actually fit, it takes a bit of modification to make them work including cutting them up and using different hardware to make them actually stick to the frame.
Not bad at all, it cruises at 65 very nicely, especially since I put the little larger tire on the rear. I feel like anything over 70 and the rpms are a little high but guys are putting 1000s of miles on these bikes on the highway
@@kentooney5988 Just used standard clamps, I know the zetas are the actual plastic guards but now that I think about it, I'm not sure if those actual clamps are zeta or not. I've had them in my garage for years from an old bike
That's a super tough decision because it goes back and forth, I love one more than the other ever other day for some different reason. I would say if I did more long distance trips and a ton of highway stuff I would say the t7 but I mainly stay around my little area, ride it to the gym, have really sandy tight trails and love doing wheelies on it I'd keep the crf. The t7 will obviously do all that as well but it's a little bit more of a handful in the trails. I feel very fortunate to have both!
nice RL - thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Looks sweet! Looking forward to your next mods👍
Thank you!
Can you tell me what frame gaurds you are running? Looks great with the swing arm protection.
looking good, isn’t the maintenance schedule frequently high on this bike vs your Tenere ?

@@r6realtor thanks! I figured they would need a little trimming
@@r6realtor sorry I meant the frame gaurd not the swing arm gaurd
How does bike feel on the freeway? Like over 65 mph
