Thanks for the deal James! The model number looked familiar so I looked it up on Amazon and noticed that the HS360 was released about a year ago which has a 2-axis gimbal. Is the HS360S better because of the upgraded control system? It looks like the HS360S is only 1 axis. For the price, its a fantastic deal for a beginner looking for a GPS drone to get started in the hobby.
Its a completely new drone, the other one was over 250 grams, and yes, the control system is way better.
There is no gimbal on the HS360s.. so it won't be good for commercial work plus the camera sensor is not that great... The drone is great to learn on... Try the HS720G or a DJI Mavic mini 2 or 3

Only one battery don't see option to get a second one even on HS website? 😢 you only get 20 minutes then you have to charge it up for an 1.20 hours. The price is a deal if you can get more batteries in the future...

The CFly is still only on Alibaba I think, it’s very comparable to the Atom but I like this controller way better.
How can you push a drone with only one battery and only the spar parts that come with it and there are no more to be had on their web site!
It's like buying a no name brand drone where there are no extra parts to be had. If they were going to have more parts, they should have had them already, but NO! Who has ever heard of a name brand drone without the option to buy more batteries and parts!

Well I did decide to purchase this drone and thank you for the discount code! I have not gotten to fly it yet but curious if you think the HS360s is a step up from the HS710?
Next question LOL, what ended up to be your true distance you could fly it with out losing video or sending it into fail safe RTH, I am still trying to get used to flying off a phone, with all my Tiny Whoops I fly off a headset and tend to still look at the drone every time I hear it.
I only test to line of sight which is close to a mile and it did great, review coming soon, i have been slammed at work

@b4ugo after a lot of searching... apparently the (s) suffix version lacks a gamble and does not have image stabilize..
I have found the hs360 (no suffix) has both.
Maybe the weight savings to fall under 250 is what the goal was.
Hello. I'm sure this is a great budget drone. I watch several reviews on the drone by persons with a lot more experience than myself, and I decided to pull the trigger on Amazon. I received my drone a few days ago. It came with a defective controller. When I press the power button it will show me the battery power (100%, it's fully charged!) but then it just goes blank! I have held it down for 10-20 seconds, even a minute! It just does not want to stay on! Today would have been it's maiden flight. Not every RC Cars/Drones/Airplanes/Boats/Helicopters arrives perfect. Amazon is sending me a new one. keeping my fingers crossed.

I've just got mine and if you tap the power button then push and hold it again it'll power up. Also if you try to fly it indoors to start with turn off the GPS or it won't start the motors. Top left button of the 4 on the controller for 2 seconds turns the GPS off.
@@marcconnor1109 I received a replacement yesterday. There was for sure something wrong with the controller. I was able to fly it for about 3 minutes today, just to get the feel for it. It was very very impressive! Can't wait for a calm day to get it much higher and fly it a lot longer. Thanks!
Yes, they where right, it is kinda like a DJI drone, press once and then press and hold, helps protect against false power offs

Just ordered 3 of them, may grab another. Buying several of these means you will have SPARE parts and batteries to use! if a motor goes out, you have more...etc
I have never had a brushless motors go out that didn’t get wet. But, I think you will be surprised how great this drone flies!
Sounds good but saving my money for the better video drone with the 3 axis camera. I like this one though due to the fact it runs without Wi-Fi. I can run my cheap one on manual but without the cell phone but no camera function. As I'm sure you know the cheap drones fly better on manual and are more stable. But if you want the camera for videos and camera the more expensive drones are better. I think there is one under the 250g limit with a 3 axis camera around 500 to 600. Well worth it in my opinion.

Yes, 5-600 can get you a fantastic drone these days, Even the DJI MiniSE is only $299, but at this price this thing is amazing.
I agree great price and great learning drone. If you want great video you just need to upgrade but for pictures the lower cost ones are still great. How else can you get a scenic overhead picture without a drone

Hey James, I have been doing a lot of research trying to decide on my first drone and so far it seems to be between the HS360S or the HS440 and wanted to see which you'd recommend. I feel like I'd prefer the 360S since it seems to have extra range as well as the GPS function so I'm less likely to lose it and possibly a smoother flight?(flying mainly outside), but I'd like your input before I decide. Thanks
The 360s is light years better than the 440! But be sure and get a 210F to learn on, you will not regret it!

James, I took your advise and bought the 210F and the 360S. Both are exactly what you described. Two questions how do I get replacement props for the 210F, I had a couple minor crashes in the house and my dog ate two props before I knew they had popped off. Second can you explain the compass in the lower left of the screen (360S). I have gotten a little to high or far out to be able to tell the direction of the 360S I checked the compass but could not tell quickly what it was telling me. I was in late morning sun which is not a good Idea. Thanks for the great advise for getting into the hobby at a beginner level. I am recently retired and have been afraid of buying the wrong thing at too high of a price. Thanks again !

There is a fault with the length of the propellers... on hot days, the blades will flex from time to time and strike the drones' bodies. This only occurred to me on the front blades. I replaced them with some leftover 710 blades, and been having a blast since.
...so I purchased and installed some motor covers for the DJI Mini 2, and that little bit of extra spacing solved the problem of the front blades striking the drone body. Sweet! I really should have ordered the red covers, though.
Final rendition for my 360S. He now has Master Air Screw props installed. Gonna see and hear a big difference in sound and performance. I hope. Fingers 🤞🏿.
