Leo should have gone lucina against kameme. And z drop metal blade as well. Good stuff though to proto and Japan in general. They are representing so well. I can't wait for top 8!
HTT Fan Leo only really brings out Lucina when he’s facing off against Pichu or Pikachu and even if he brought the Lucina out I don’t think the results would be any different but yes Japan is representing so well.
@@hobron9593 it could have been slightly differebt at least. Leo is a god with sword characters after all. Somewhat. But joker doesn't have the range. He has to be very close and aggressive to deal damage.

Most of their attacks require them swinging their swords. And Joker at least has projectiles like his Eiha and Eigeon (when he has Arsen). He can even attack long range with his guns. And in previous tournaments Leo won with Joker alone you can ask Samsora how he felt facing Leo’s Joker.

Vikki Kitty and D1 are fantastic commentators, unfortunatly after the disgusting actions D1 had done some time ago he won't be heard on mic in the future but I'm glad to say Vikki will definitly be at more events to listen to

His spacing, edge guarding, mixups, pressure, and capitalization are honestly more on-point than any Mega Man I’ve ever watched. Lots of respect to Proto for being able to take him out, especially considering Kameme 2-0d MKLeo earlier this tournament.

Kameme got way too flustered at the end, panic spammed roll, and died because of the anti-rollspam mechanic (along with the predictability of his actions) A real shame to see my favorite player go out like that, here's to taking next Evo, Kameme.
What about Shuton and Zachray? ...I think this is just more of a testament as to how strong Japan is haha I must admit, I didn’t think these guys were quite this good until seeing them pop off here at this Evo
LoneGyarados shuton has always been first and zackray has always been second. It’s kinda hard placing the rest in order since there are more top level Japanese players that are capable of getting this far in the bracket that didn’t attend
Of course Lucina ruined everything. It would've been perfect to see a rematch and now Leo has taken another tournament or at least made it to grand finals. Fucking hell.

Leo still would've lost if he went Lucina. He just didn't know the matchup.
