A simple guide on the basic mechanics of revenge gain More “TheDarkSide” Media: Twitch: / thedarkside8517 Discord: / discord TikTok : / thedarkside8517
i rarely come across teamates/opponents who know this. It feels good when a teammate standsby waiting for the right moment to actually throw an attack rather than spamming it
Omg, I've got nearly 2000 hours in the game and didn't know the enemies icon flashes when they will get revenge. 🤦🏼 You sir, have earned my sub for that alone.
What happen in regards to, you enter a 1v3. All 3 opponents add a tag to you, but you haven't attacked anyone. Does that mean revenge will be active for you, or do you have to attack someone to initiate the tag deficit and be eligible for revenge within that 5 seconds?
The tags will come into play as soon as they hit you. Since you have 0 tags, you’ll always be at that tag deficit, and gain revenge. The only unique interaction is if you only have one tag applied to you, then you won’t gain any revenge because then you would be able to get revenge in 1v1s. You must have a minimum of 2 tags applied to you to gain revenge.
No hate intended but that first clip was actually your fault as well. You could have got a free heavy from the shinobi's kick (since he had no revenge already built up) and then backed off to let to brainless random fight the now 1hp gryphon :/
lol I’m very aware. It was just a quick shot I staged with my buddies to showcase revenge feeding, and you can’t always rely on randoms to know how to gank properly and all that. (Technically there was a point where I even head butt the gryphon, didn’t do the follow up light, and just added another tag 💀)
@@TheDarkSide8517 Ah didn't realise it was a staged clip because that is 100% accurate to how randoms act lmao. And yeah I agree randoms never know how to gank - bane of my existance 😂
@@megajoules7048 saying you didn’t realize it was staged is either the best complement I could receive, or a testament to the sad truth of how many times I’ve experienced this phenomenon so I am able to replicate it to perfection. (Also I plan on making a gank video in the near future)
Probably both, but if I had to give one bit of critisism to make it even more believable, it would be to have the shinobi spam forward dodge heavies, and random guard breaks (the kick actually could be useful, but they can't even be useful by accident most of the time 😂)
no because that’s exactly how revenge works, just as long as the 2 or more enemies throw an attack at you within the window. You get more revenge if you block or parry the attacks rather than just letting them hit you.
@@enginiusz511 yeah, you need to have more tags ON YOU than you have on other people. If three enemies are constantly attacking you, you could still attack two of them and gain revenge AS LONG AS all three of them keep adding tags to you, since that would make a 3:2 tag ratio. However, @dmp426 is totally correct in that blocking gives you the most revenge, followed by parrying, and then actually getting hit gives you the least amount. (Honestly that’s probably something I could have added in the video.)
I feel called out, half of my shinobi hours have been spent injecting enemies with revenge serum and then booking it.
😂😂 There’s my target audience!!
I found this video very enlightening, and I loved how you broke this down into a digestible format. You sir have earned your subscription in full
I appreciate your complements! This is exactly why I create these videos; I just wanna help out players in the community 😊
Holly shit, finally an informative video. There are now 3 creators that do something more than gameplay vids

I *have* been playing for years without knowing how the revenge system worked. Thanks for fixing that!
That’s what the channel is for! Happy to help!

This is so stupid. So if i understand corectly. When 3 dudes gank me i cant fight all od them cuz i won't get aby Revenge??? This is BS

if it’s a 1v3, you can attack them but if it’s a 3v1, you’d be feeding revenge
