The finale section of this theme went so hard!! I really felt like I was slaying a god. the way yog's gameplay leaves you blind and afflicted, almost hopeless (it even says your hope is an illusion)... But if those 24 floors taught me anything, its that though death may breathe down my neck, I will fight to the bitter end (and with my 102 combo gladiator)
Its weird that the dwarves were unable or lazy to kill the god that they just imprisoned it in their deepest part of the elite court but a guy that was sent to see whatever is down
The hero is so strong that they can shred through a king army and barely able to defeat the god, sooooooo... I assume as a king it certainly isn't a feastable choice to challenge the god. Just making my guess with the context and gameplay given though.
@@skyblockiankurai3595 The hero aren't that strong, really. if they ever had the Mob ai the hero would lose instantly. The hero is blessed with "main character" moveset
Imagine the DK incident, He literally almost wiped the Dwarven race in the world. Then by him attracting Yog dzewa In PD world's makes life there won't last long, one day Yog dzewa come back for a revenge. And think also of all the people down in the prison and sewer, thief are surely bad but the Guards aren't, and all sorts of this corruption are caused by ONE dwarf. Then he realizes all the bad things happened below, he tried to makes a resistance but failed slowly, when he says "You've doomed us all..." he feared for the world's life, if the hero died down here, then the corruption would easily crept up to the surface, and if the hero wins, it would end the same because later Yog dzewa will came back, by defeating him it would just make the world's life shorter.
On the prison part, the guards and the thiefs were undeads but the heroe did do save somebody in the dungeon and its tengu since tengu wasn't a undead and he was locked in that room when you defeat him he obviously says "Free at last..." Meaning the heroe "freed" him from such miserable place

@KristjanThomasHaaristo I would love to because I am recreating spd in the game Geometry Dash, and Geometry Dash allows you to pick any song on newgrounds, and that would make the building process of the recreation more fun and enjoyable, and gives each region its own vibe. So if you can upload the main songs (sewers - halls and bosses) that would be pretty cool.

I did a comparison, golem/monk can barely kill a succubus and ripper demon.

new part very much fills you with hope at the last push before you reach your goal
