What is your source for those lovely oval bronze deadlights?? I am building a Shilling yawl (from plans by British designer Phil Swift) and these would look better on the cabin trunk than the round portlights shown in the plans...
I reckon I will ever see one on Port Phillip Bay Melbourne but I would not doubt that for one fraction of a millisecond. That is a lot of sail area and a lot to wrong with.🇦🇺👍

Если яхта перевернётся и затонет с людьми даже на небольшой глубине люди могут погибнуть ! . Даже вес маленькой речной байдарки в затопленном состоянии человек поднять не сможет если будет в затопленной байдарке на дне . Не сможет байдарку приподнять и всплыть на воздух ! . Яхтам , катерам и лодкам надо делать отсеки плавучести которые будут держать яхту на плаву если она перевернётся . ...

sail a Menger 19, reef early reef often, sport boats are flying along full sail
you dam well better be reefed
