I learned how to do it by learning how to match Gerard’s voice, which comes in handy with doing theater and having to belt high notes but not having enough time to get enough air to do it in head voice. I can also tell you, Gerard Ways deserves WAY more credit than he’s given.
So basically, he has the normal range of a woman, but somehow he doesn't sound like a woman. I wonder if he has any special technique for getting out really high notes.

I can sing "this is how i disappeared" couple of times until my voice cracked 😅 Btw Helena is the easiest song to sing if you know the techniques * Side note* i can sing "she's Gone" using my regular voice and only belts the high note 4 times😅 And also imitates guitar sound for fun😂

i was at the MCRTACOMA show, and it was literally the best night ever. gerard's voice was and is so much healthier than in all the old footage too!
