I really love the acrylic one. I’m sure I’ll have trouble finding that one. I like the wood one as well. It the acrylic one looks more sophisticated.

OMG THE MASKS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!... HOWEVER, BEFORE YOU START ADDING THE GEMS AND TJE GLITTER ECT, YOU MAY WANT TO SPRAY PAINT OVER THE EXPOSED NEWSPAPER USED FOR THE PAPER-MACHE METHOD USED. TO SEAL IT ADD TWO COATS OF THE MODGE PODGE AND LET IT DRY FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR. THIS WILL MAKE THE MASKS LOOK MORE PROFESSIONAL AND COMPLETE.. OTHER THAN THAT YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB... LOVE IT!!!.. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY!!

Question, Have you thought about using a clip..glue it to the top of the acrylic bling it to match B-) then attach a small tab inside the chin area of the mask..one that folds in when you wear do you can use it holiday etc. The flip the tab out and clip to stand until/if you want to use it! Just a thought, only because after all that work its so pretty..I'd want to use it. :-D
Hi Beverly. New to your channel, very beautiful designs. FYI: When you are cutting and using your saw, to stop it from moving try putting a dish towel or cloth type under it to minimize movement. It's just like when you are mixing a cake in a bowl, putting a towel underneath stops the bowl from moving. I really do LOVE your designs. Thank you for sharing your talents!!!!! :)

if you ever cut through the plastic rod again try using a burnishing tool the one what you can right with it looks like a heating saw just a idea ive used one but i dont know the name i think you should be able to get them in the US there is also one that cuts polystyrene thats heated xx
Hi Helen, Yes I know exactly what you are talking about. I actually have one but it did not work when I first tried doing the first one. I just used that same tool in my previous video to cut through some plastic. Since the rod was acrylic it was not going to be an easy job lol. Thanks for the advice :)
I love these masks. Only thing I would have done differently is to paint the insides since the newsprint shows through the eyes. When I make mine I'm going to do something the comedy and tragedy masks.

No I never even considered it because I like the shape of them the way that they are but if you make them you can do the shape you prefer. Thanks for watching :)

I love your DIY projects but, i have a hard time trying to make the butterflies. I'm not a good drawer or a good person with succors but of my left hand. Trying to navigate is hard because your right handed. I also live in an apartment. Help

Aww bummer..Good try! That's not plastic. It's acrylic. Much stronger material. Lol I'd have tried it to! I wanted a hanging planter. Had pots without holes & nothing to hang it with...sooo I bought chain and created my owner hangers at the time of year I couldn't find one to purchase. And I took an old write hanger. Straightened it out..put the tip on the burner to heat it up and used it to make the holes in the plot..Walla! Hanging planters in the winter. LOLOL we are only limited by our own imaginations! Keep creating! Have a CREATIVE and BLESSED NEW YEAR!
