My adoptive father was a gay man, born in 1943, & he was living in NYC when the Stonewall Riot happened. He was still pretty young then, & hadn't come out yet, & was unsure if he should try to hang out in the gay scene at that time. He was working as a runner for Time Magazine, & the new director of the magazine really wanted to do a story on the gay community. At that time, only men could write for the magazine, & none of them were willing to even go ask people questions about the events, even the married men, because they worried that others might see them as gay then. As a runner, my father saw the communication between the boss & many of the writers, so he spoke to the boss & offered to go investigate, thinking it would be a great way to check out the scene without revealing anything about himself, but he might be more accepted by other queer people since he didn't see them in a bigoted way. A lot of what he wrote was included in the article.

Because I knew it was funny. But my brother didn't seem to see it that way. That was 1968.
When I saw 'Fox Farms' in the title, I thought you guys were covering the 'Foxcatcher' murder, where John DuPont killed a former Olympic winning medalist wrestler on his farm. It's a bizarre story and a movie has been made out of it. Rarely covered by True Crime as it has received a lot of attention (I think there's a documentary too) but would be great to hear you two tell it and your take on it.

Always fun when both of you are here for a podcast. Sorry you're feeling under the weather Keith, hopefully it's just the changing of the weather & nothing a good Irish Coffee or Hot Toddy can't fix. As for today's case; Cluster B Disorders have been my nursing specialty for 33 years. Even though PTSD & Complex PTSD are still listed in the DSM, many doctors are campaigning to have them removed because they aren't a true disorder, they are a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that actually do show up on brain scans. A true disorder, in the Cluster B category, is one people are born with. Most often they do remain dormant until puberty. The hormonal changes in the brain during puberty end up kick starting it. Or my professor used to call "flipping the switch" because the drastic change in some children is quite the switch from the sweet child they had been up to this point. Then there are the cases where a person wasn't born with a true disorder but a hard blow to the head causes it. As for the urine, that's easy to explain it in a way that even make him being a conservative make sense. It's about control. Conservative in politics more accurately means control freak. Its a base animal instinct in every mammal species. Urine is used to dominate, show control, & to mark territory. By pissing on his teacher's desk it was his way of telling her "You're not the boss of me". A lot of Cluster B children will exhibit this behavior to an authority figure. Take a child with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). You can tell these children to do their chores, like wash the dishes, or clean their room for example & this children will defiantly look you right in the eye & stand there pissing themselves to get out of it. I live in Fishers where this took place. It is like the Eagleton to Indianapolis' Pawnee. 😂 It's hard to believe something like that could happen here but one thing true crime has taught us, it can happen anywhere
Clerb was actually found lying on the shore at Pinery, feet to the lake, head to the land, not in his car. He was stopped by Police the day prior after being found sleeping in his car, and was checked out and released.
On his suicide note he ended it by writing "I'm going to have a peanut butter sandwich and go to sleep."
It's also said that he, and some of his victims, haunt Fox Hollow.
Am I the only one who thought Sav-A-Lot and Save A Lot were the same thing? I was astonished at first 🤣

Btw i have a description of when I saw what I'm certain was a ufo. The story isn't super eventful or exciting except the possibility of it being aliens and all.
