Nice one Nic and pleased you got a retirement the Kondor's, I have been told to grow them in the ground for better results.
    ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.

It was great to meet up with you on Sunday Terry.
I think my ones in the bucket were bigger, but then they were easier to water for me this year with my shoulder.
      All the best Nic

Loadsa spuds Nic! I had a bit of rodent damage this year - first time ever. Maybe they were thirsty with the dry weather?
Ha ha ha - love your reaction to the little chit reveal 🤣😂🤣. Spuds are amazing!

Hi Steve, well they had to get some liquid from somewhere. Just a shame it's from the spuds. Dug up some spuds from part of the plot where I didn't get them all out in previous years. They were tasty! Just goes to show that Mother nature knows best!
      All the best Nic

@Nic's Allotment *Just goes to show that Mother nature knows best!* You summed it up perfectly, Nic. It's a shame that many channels try to fight her!

Evening Nic, Hope you are ok 🤞.I grow all of my 🥔 s in 30ltr buckets, It's such a great clean harvest every year. Also you don't damage any of the Spuds, and you can use the compost again next Season, just have to add a couple of ingredients eg Fish Blood +Bone, Happy Growing 👍🙏

      Hi Kevin
You definitely get much cleaner spuds in buckets, and, as you say, no fork damage. I think I grow too many potatoes to just do them
      in buckets.
      All the best, Nic

I know some that leave their spuds in the ground over Winter. That sounds much easier than digging them all up at once, but I couldn't risk that in case of slug or rodent damage.

To bad you didn't do a bucket test and a no dig straw test?....it would have been interesting.....yes those grown with seed potatoes must have been a disappointment....even for me the ones in the bucket didn't do well...it was to hot ,dry and for to long...

It was a bit disheartening when the weather is against you. Good idea about the comparison. I hope to do that next year.
