For those who tapped I and had a panic attack, the new button for Blender 4.whatever is "K", not "I" :> Though, just a little heads up for y'all, that "I" button automatically does what he is attempting do. Automatically selecting the location, rotation, and scale.

ur tutorials are sticking in my brain the most out of any ive watched so far and ive been dabbling since 2020!!! im excited to watch the character animation tuts after these, i just needed a refresher on things and this is truly so helpful and comprehensive!!

The way you are explaining things is absolutely amazing. Unlike other tutorials you truly go into the deep explinations and repeating things so it stucks with us. Heya! I just started following these tutorials and noticed this change in Blender. I found out the new key for inserting a key frame with custom properties is now "K" I hope this helps!
so i'm a little confused, because when i start at frame one and do the movements, i see the keyframe gets automatically placed but once i stop actions and try to play it only one keyframe was made...so when i hit play nothing happens Do i need to set a point for the animation to end or something on my timeline?
Troubleshoot here: If you get to the Keyframes part of the video and play the animation and it is only showing the stills of the keyframes in your time line... "***Your interpolation is probably set to Constant. Press T in the timeline then change it to bezier or linear*** Constant interpolation is used by animators who don't want blender to do any in-between stuff until they've put the majority of the important poses and positions in or for stylistic choice" - Thanks to Woha from the TF2 Blender Community Discord Server
