- Well this was a tough week. Lots of frustrations but ultimately I think we made some progress. Got some floor panels in, and at least know where we are going from here. To finish the rear seat floor.
Learning by trial and error slows a guy down a lot !
I appreciate any comments on how to make this better!
Do you like Jamie’s thumbnail?
Thanks for coming back to watch this build.

Doing a great job. We all have to learn new things time to time.
Slows me down a lot but I’ll keep plugging away
LOL you're killing it today. "Magical Light Saber", "Shriners Car", and a "Christmas Story" reference! Enjoying the build, thanks for the update.
I was in rare form..... probably too tired ...
Awesome Job your doing. Frustration just Shows Compassion, on what you doing. Keep at and I will keep watching.
👊
You are doing great keep it up 👍
Doesn’t really feel like it a lot of the time
Much respect to you. 👍👍👍
Thanks
Looking great! Definitely save yourself a headache down the road with the fuel pump. Make a door on the floor. Your future self will be grateful. On the s10, you can easily lift half the bed up and swap it. Looks like you would have to lift the whole body. The day after I finished fixing my ls swap, the pump died. Such is life 😂. Enjoying the content, thank you. 👍
Yeah that’s what I was thinking … watch me put this together then the OG S10 pump craps the bed
Doing well with the fabrication coming together nicely. I know I've said before but stay positive. That is the best thing to do is have a break when it's not going right. Keep em coming man. 👍 👍👌🇦🇺
I really appreciate the comment thanks!
always have to look a few steps ahead to avoid rework. ..looking good car has that gangsta vibe look...
Adam Looking very Good You had a great idea with the access panel for the fuel tank. If you can put it in save in the long run nice work.
Looking good Adam. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Hang in there you are doing a great job!
Thank you …. Tough to see the end sometimes
Jamie's thumbnail is perfect. Kinda describes my life sometimes. You are doing a great job on the floor panels. I think the cross member will be strong enough. Sometimes I get frustrated and my French really comes out 😅
I made quite a mosaic of new combinations of 4 letter words ….
@@MarekMakes 😂🤣😂
Looking forward to this
Thanks!! I’m out of town for a basketball tournament and I tried to get my work for the week done early… slow as molasses fabricating
Looking right man !
Thank you
Looking good
Thanks 👍
Enjoy seeing the progress you are making. Just told the wife I think I want to do something like this once I’m done with the rambler
Also 6 foot 5 driving a Shriners car LOL
Always gotta get the boss’s approval!
🤣🤣
The bead rolled panels look awesome! So, one time I was building a demolition derby car and paying little attention to the gas tank that was still in the car until it somehow exploded! Went from being a flat tank under the trunk to looking like a beer keg. Nobody got hurt but several pants changes were needed lol. Be careful with that gas tank man!
Yeah … it’s not ideal … that’s why I threw the blanket on it there …
To stop buckling of your floor panels weld across the back then go one weld per side at a time then weld across the front.
Thank you - this is the kind of tip I need to make the next panel better!!
You're doing a good job man and apart from that I get to see the complications that arise and how you resolve them Hang in tuff man I ain't looking to watch someone else's content I'm waiting for your next video
Thanks
That means a lot when I’m struggling !!
The original 37 Chassis would be good for a light weight racer build or a pickup rod.
Definitely a unique running driving chassis
It can get frustrating. I've been there and sometimes I walked away for a while or said up yours to it and kept going until I beat the problem.
I thoroughly enjoy your build, I own a 37 coupe and a 38 4 dr sdn. Have you thought about moving the gas tank to the trunk area and ditching the stock S10 tank for an aluminum tank? If you leave it where it is making an access door for future service of the fuel pump now. Sure bets dropping the tank to change a dead pump!
Yes I have considered that
Couple reasons I did not:
When I bought the S10 is had a reverse 4 link for the rear airbags so that space is occupied already
Also I need the trunk area for the compressors and air tank for the airbags
@@MarekMakes Think about the fuel sender access panel for future repairs. Keep up the good work, I am enjoying the build, everybody builds a Ford and disregards the Chevy's! Don't feel bad, my scrap pile of second attempts is pretty big!!!
@@stephenmoore8103 Yes I have considered this... I have deemed this a "future me" problem for now....
this is how we learn. by doing. the problem is not in making a mistake but in never trying! keep at er! this is a bitchen project you got going.
True fact.... I am learning trial by fire with this build!!
One criticism from me !
Please at least put the gas cap back on the filler. !!
Don’t want K-Boom 😮
