I would've been tempted with an impulsive buy had there been even a small, early adopter discount. That would've helped offset the high shipping price, especially for those in CA. Not sure what deals they have with UPS, but I had a Sixth110 case sent to me from a retailer in the midwest for less.
Sorry it didn’t work out for you! The case was originally going to be $240 retail but Bryan did what he could and got it to $199. I think that’s the lowest he could go.
I only have to pay for shipping from Cali? And I pay the same price as I paid for my Detolf, after the cost of Luke Lights and the time I had to take to install all that shit with weatherstripping that still doesn't keep dust out...well damn.
Good share guys. Some constructive criticism via their website experience via Samsung G23 w/ latest One UI phone / tablet OS, etc. Unlike most websites accessed via my devices, are you guys able to expand & zoom product pics via your non PC devices. Probably 2nd time on their site via your video and can't enlarge their pics. Will attempt again this evening. I'd they have pdfs of product line, this engineer is good to go; I still print a ton of shit! If I find the web pics expanding is for whatever reason, my end which I doubt, will also share. I may have missed the comment but am assuming the shelf location configuration are fairly freed up? IOW, 1/4 scale figures like my deluxe quarter scale base and Batman can easily fit? Again, will do more spec(s) reading up this week. Thanks. Update: AM unable to zoom in/up, etc.
Ordered a few this morning. They look great IMO, and I'm using them as a companion piece to the Sixth110(s) I have on order (waiting sucks!). A couple of things to note. I reached out to Moducase and you can purchase the acrylic shelve separately if you changed your mind, or possibly want to mix and match. Shipping was around $50/unit to east coast. But I was planning on roughly $240 + $30 ship = $270/unit. So that's fine. Personally I ordered the wood shelves I really like that look. To me I like that it "frames" the figures on each shelve and like you guys mentioned matches the standard Moducase better than acrylic.
Congrats on getting some of these! Thanks for the info! Yeah shipping seems a bit more than expected, but the case itself is a lot cheaper than expected.
@@thejediknightswatch Yeah I was planning higher shipping either way. $30 seemed pretty cheap lol. But when you look at Apex Chaos Ultra cases (which look awesome) they end up being over $200 shipped, for really a single figure case. So I think the Mono has a lot more value personally. Unless maybe you want something specific for a particular grail figure.
These looks like the ikea detolf thing I wish I could get these but I own the ikea detolf so in the future I buy more figure I’ll get one of these but for now keep my ikea
Think I'm seriously making the switch from Detolf to the Mono, cuz I like that the mono is lighter to move and most importantly no breakable glass involved, which is important to me living in So California where strong earthquakes are definitely an important consideration. With all that's included for the price it's basically a no brainer for me. Since your discount code isn't available for the mono I will see if I can just pick up my order at their So Cal warehouse, which is about 20 miles from me. That would save me $30/ case.
see, I got Luke Lights for my 1 Detolf...and they're so weak. They're just too soft. I got 2 Rudstas and went and got my own lighting that I just mounted vertically like the Mono is doing, and it's just a better way to light a cabinet.
UPDATE: Shipping is coming out higher than expected based on updated rates from UPS.
Everyone is "sticking it to the man! STICKINGIT!!" ;) Transportation costs for goods are quickly passed on down the line by most.
I was quoted a UPS shipping charge of $173.57 to NY for two Monos in January 2025.
Do we know when they’re releasing the risers for the mono?
I haven’t heard anything about risers for the mono…
@@thejediknightswatch thanks for the super fast response

Thanks for the content guys. I pulled the trigger on one. Went with the plexi.
Nice! Congrats on securing one!

Yes you can adjust the shelves to whatever height you would like!
Whats the max weight for these shelves? Is it bad to fit resin statues in there?
11 lbs for plexi and 22 for the wood shelves

But now this first batch is a couple of weeks for an order window and all the wait time for shipping after...but when will the next batch go up?
Not exactly sure yet but I will let you know as soon as I hear!
Will these become available in the UK if they are successful?
I would imagine so but it’s pretty early so we will see what happens

That sounds like a good plan!
Watched the replay just to see if you’d read my comment live and you didn’t disappoint. 🤘🏼🐺

Just placed my order! ✌️
Congrats!

Those are good points to possibly switch! Yeah living in Cali will def save you money and even time in shipping!
Great stream everyone.
Thanks mark!

I agree it’s actually a better way to light the figures. Plus no slack in the luke light cable to adjust.
Ya know...the great thing about not being married is I don't have to worry about somebody else telling me how to live in my home.
