@@pinklemonaze9982 first she aged, people tend to have a deeper voice as they age. Second she smoked and drank which we all know, I just hope not so much now. And lastly just imagine you touring and singing non-stop for more than a decade, that definitely puts a toll on your voicing deepening it. Fortunately she still sings amazingly just with a deeper voice and more rasp.
@@pinklemonaze9982 also, the songs on the fame were probably recorded from 2005-2007 while she was a teen and as she released the album in 2008 she already had her adult voice. You can look up her earlier performances of Paparazzi, or Poker Face and she sometimes performed it with a semitone down because her voice got deeper...
Greg Watson they have a demo with Akon on vocals. I believe he didn't go on the final version because since Colby was on the same label as Gaga it was to help boost him also, but no one even bothered to get into him.
@Christie - You realize Akon signed Gaga AND Colby to HIS label right? He’s the guy who recognized she has talent and signed her to his label to release this album
@@sammyUknow Uh you do know akon signed gaga ON HIS RECORD LABEL also he has a tiny hint of vocals in the final. EDIT: gaga did sign to interscope but she still worked with akon for the fame.
Gaga seemed to come out of nowhere, despite us all knowing now she'd been a child prodigy and had been doing music for a very, very long time. I still remember hearing this breakout hit for the first time and just being blown away by it. The whole album, really. It could be one of the most perfect debuts in history.
For saying it's not a demo, I mean it's not really, the label creates probably a lot of edits & this was just a version without Colby. I will say tho that the very ending is not even in the final version, so that's really a demo part, but everything else is the final product
Notice how she didn’t say “Konvict!” at the beginning. This means she already met RedOne at some point in mid 2007, started working on the track and signed with Interscope. But she didn’t join KonLive (Akon’s record label) yet where Colby was already signed, so that’s why he didn’t appear in this demo. And the vocals sound exactly like the official, but from the little things you can tell the song wasn’t exactly finished. The vocals weren’t exactly mixed together with the instrumental and in some parts her backing vocals in the official aren’t there and at the ending, her vocals don’t have that echo/reverb feel they have in the official. Definitely rare of a DEMO to be so similar and high quality to the official. in 2007!
@@apparition555 i agree. they have an old article here about how the rough mix developed to final version of just dance www.soundonsound.com/people/secrets-mix-engineers-robert-orton
This demo sounds more melodic! Thats why I felt the difference when I was young and the another version was released, I missed this “turururururu” in the background, for me it makes a lot of difference!
I was scrolling through the music channels on my tv, and then this version of Just Dance was on, without Colby, with Akon, but without Busta Rhymes. I've been looking for it and I've hadn't a chance to be able to find it at all.
Normally raps in songs are the bits people love, they have learnt and love show off... This song... No one even remembers there is rap a rap in the song.
There was one version where Colby had his verse and then it went strait to baiibeeeee and the part of half psychotic part was omitted. Which version was that
I definitely heard this version on the radio in France in 2008. I can remember loving the end of the song.
Her voice during the debut era was my favorite by far
it's so different from her current voice! it's so much higher! i wonder why her voice changed so much?

@@wysjordan6186 also, her label wanted her to have a poppy voice while singing, which fits the era very well.
I personally prefer her deeper voice. Afterall, it's been around since the TFM era
The off beat ad libs & scatting type at the end I LIVE 😍
This is WAY BETTER THAN THE FINAL VERSION!
doesn’t even sounds like demo, It is fully produced track
@@catchyname58it's before all the features were added
I like the ending better - I dont mind colby's part but apparently Akon wrote it and I wish he'd just sang it too!

Better

well
This is like the Monster Ball version without Colby
Tbh, Colby just shits the song, Lady Gaga's voice and talent basically made the song a #1 hit!
Actually I felt like something was missing without him lol

this song fills me with so much nostalgia which is weird because I didn't grow up listening to this lol

it sounds like it hasn't been mixed fully if at all
That why it is a demo. Just something to start with before they start adding things to it.
that’s why it’s called a demo

Final versions of a lot of the songs on the album were overproduced. This is much better.
*This Version Should Be On Album The Fame*
AMO ESTA VERSION SOBRE TODOO EL FINAAL!
@LadyGagaDemoAudio And there's an extended ending!
Omg! i love this . More better than the orriginal
this ending is better, but also some parts of the song feels a little empty.
This isn't a demo, it just has Colby's part taken out and the drums sound slightly more compressed
@isaacgermanotta I know! I never learned colby's part..!
Am i the only who actually like colby part ?
right it’s fun😭

have you ever been able to find the just dance demo ft. akon.
