These winter village videos got me back into Lego. I picked up the alpine lodge and Santa’s visit on Black Friday and am starting my own winter village. Thanks for the inspiration Bricksie!
Love the final result of the Winter Village. The Winter Village looks super epic. The smoothly working chairlift is the absolute eyecatcher. You could put two signs with the village name (for example, "Bricksie Town") and street name (for example, "Brickstreet") with your amazing custom stickers in the Winter Village. That's just a detail.
Anyone new to this channel who is reading this, go back and watch some of the older content, getting to this point after having seeing the expansions and revisions, is super gratifying!
I love your Winter Village, Bricksie. It's so beautiful, interesting, creative and festive. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching and following the whole process from the very beginning to today's completion. This has been my first Christmas watching your channel and it's been lovely and really helped me feel jolly and positive. Many thanks 🎄
Discovered you daily last year when you were building that Winter Village, being in Australia a white Christmas is something that other people have, it's in the movies, so many decorations and sometimes we spray fake snow on our windows. I was super impressed with last year's but this is amazing, love it, love it, love it.
for the 1.5 empty baseplate, you can put a train station, for its right next to the train track. also, it would look really good if you pit the pedway bridge right over a road
Every morning I wake up laying comfortably in bed and I have two choices. Do I stay comfortably in bed and watch Bricksie or do I get up and go make me some coffee. Life choices
The gold chains for the railing looks great, the working chair lift is a great addition to any christmas village and i really like those new wall panels for the ice skate rink.
I have loved watching the progress you've made in the Winter Village in the past couple of months. It's been a real journey! Just an idea, why don't you get a maintenance guy working on the flood light with the trans clear tiles on and say that it's broken? I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and keep the great content coming! 🙏😄
Ski hill looks awesome! Chair lift stopping is pretty realistic 20:00 that picture is actually a picture hanging in the lunar new year resteraunt 2024 set
I've been nervously waiting for the winter village to finish and I couldn't love it more! Those little finishing touches you do so very well just bring everything to life! You really are a lego artist!
Hey Jordan, this is amazing. It would be great if you would at any point give some short guidelienes which sets/minifigs are included (e.g. skiing part) so it can be easily recreated by us. While I am amazed what you achieved, I want to try it myself on the smaller scale. While you have definitely inspired me, it is difficult to start since there are many unknows. Thank you!
Really nice job ! wasn't easy but live and learn, back in the video were started to question the ski lift being that you mite scrap it because of parts and mechanical problums it just go to show that if there a will there a way !
Really love how it turned out... it's an amazing combination of different things and details. One suggestion for the future though: perhaps the winter village would be a good small scale place to experiment with lighting, as dark days and atmospheric lighting really go together there.
I like the look of the reverse chair lift - but I will say there is one big 6-seat lift at the local resort where you board at the back of the lift, perpendicular to the hill, then after boarding you go a quarter of the way around the wheel before heading up the slope. It would have been possible to mimic that on your chair lift just by moving the location of the line entrance; but I like it better the way you did it.
There are a lot to like in this village. The two things I really like the most are the frozen pond area and the ski lift. There are a couple of things that can improve though. First, where is that fire truck going to go if there is a problem? Also, the main ski run I think should have big curves instead of 90 degree angles. Also you can add a few more white curved slopes to that top area that just looks like stairs. Other then that, it is a very nice winter village.
Looks awesome, I want to hit those slopes All the roller coaster guys use silicone cooking spray for all day lubrication when setting up displays, it might work for the high friction connections on the lift.
You ski area looks Awesome! Heres something you couldve done, or maybe still can: You can build an underground under the santas house in the mountain with elves building toys for christmas with an opening or clear on the outer edge? The only problem with this, is the IKEA boxes couldnt be used in some places. But a good little detail maybe for next time?
My boys decided to make a hill to our winter village. Also took all the white bricks they could find from other Lego they have build in order to create snow 😂 They are 5 and 7 and love watching your video with me 😊
I know you’ve been struggling to think of future builds and videos. How about you do a “Spring” version of the Christmas village in the new year? Swap out all the snow for grass and show what this town looks like outside of the Christmas season, and then as the season change you can make it into summer and fall themed villages. I’m someone who often takes the winter village sets and just makes them generic city buildings after the holidays are past.
This is all looking great and a lot of nice decoration and fun stories in it. It would be nice if you can keep it until you find a bigger place to build your lego city. Happy X-mas time to you and Josee and the kids! Enjoy it! :)
Looking great, recently refound love for building as my kid niw is of building age. Thinking of starting a village with him. Wondering how you store your bricks, how you sort them be able to build properly. Would be a nice vid to see. Cheers from a new fan!

The winter village is gorgeous. So many little fun spots in there that I wish I could be the size of a mini-figure and have a visit.

Absolutely AMAZING! I still have a warm spot in my heart for your Custom Zoo as my favorite, but this is incredibly impressive! Nicely done!
The finished product turned out amazing. This turned out really well with your creativity.

Good job Bricksie!! So darn awesome! I thoroughly enjoy my early AM coffee accompanied by a Bricksie video, thank you.
Looks awesome, I want to hit those slopes

Once you get a bigger layout you should integrate the ski hill in the city
I like the winter village, but the only thing I wish for you to do with mr. switch the trolley with the polar express
Looks great!
The Winter looks really great. Love all the stories and details. Great video.
The ski lift occasionally breaking down makes it more authentic 😂
The winter village is looking awesome

Congratulations on a fantastic Winter Village. Keep Brickin.
Snow should be everywhere on the mountain, even the slopes.
Have you thought about putting a Wampa in there somewhere? Maybe in the forest area on the ski slopes.
Congrats on finishing. now its time to go skiing and boarding on the real slopes

You should put a dumpster in that little concrete area next to the alpine lodge
he should add a big sauna house
This is all looking great and a lot of nice decoration and fun stories in it. It would be nice if you can keep it until you find a bigger place to build your lego city. Happy X-mas time to you and Josee and the kids! Enjoy it! :)

Looking great, recently refound love for building as my kid niw is of building age. Thinking of starting a village with him. Wondering how you store your bricks, how you sort them be able to build properly. Would be a nice vid to see. Cheers from a new fan!
If you look at past Bricksie videos, you'll find quite a few that cover storage and organisation of Lego 😊
@@kirstymorley1665 to be honest, found it 10 mins after i asked and was like, yea figures. Thanks anyways!
Village is amazing!
I didn’t understand changing direction of the lift. Either it is opposite in Canada or we are watching mirrored video 🤔
It would look like magic if you added real lights and shoot it in the dark
Hi i’m from Belgique, i like your Christmas village. I would like to know how you make your ski lift it’s just amazing? Have a goodbye day
cool
You're green run needs a ski patrol.
Can you use som nets to the hockey goals? Like pirate ship nets or something like from brickcrafts harbor!
do u remake the village every year?
Not counting the ski lift, how much would you guess that snow covered mountain costs?
Maybe one o two ice climbers at santas hill ?
Lighting...uh huh hehe...um and why is the Trolley ?
19:19 .... the floating snowball looks like it launches from the ground.. not from the person... the trajectory is off.
👏 👏
