So who's your favourite third party lens manufacturer? Which lenses do you absolutely love?
I got a couple of MF Voigtlander lenses and love them!
I only 3rd party lens I have is the TTArtisan 27mm and I really love it! Well, I also use some adapted Canon FD lenses if that counts lol
@@shefyslove the voigtlanders 👌 stunning glass
@@ofthenearfuturethe 27mm is fantastic. Had it in my backpack during the video 👌
Great video, love your calm approach and presentation.Subscribed👍🇦🇺🇬🇧🙏
Didn’t expect this kind of quality for the price. The autofocus works great, and it’s got a really nice, sturdy feel to it.
This is a very interesting lens, and I love what the low/mid-tier lens manufacturers are doing these days. Thanks for the review and sample images, it was a great video!
Thanks Alex! Much appreciated. It's a great lens, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the build quality is. Image Quality is excellent also. Thanks for connecting
Great to see a kiwi photographer on UA-cam. For my money a lens having an aperture ring is preferable as it means I have one less command dial to adjust if I am working a fast-paced event. I have the Viltrox 27mm 1.2 and that lens is crazy sharp at the wide open end.
Hard to beat at that price. Easily justified to have in the kit
Yeah I’m still trying to understand how they get this much in at $158 😮
You can mount the APS-C, DX, crop lenses on FF cameras like Z8. It will be cropped but it will work.
I just got this lens a while ago, and I'm really blown away. The sharpness is crazy good, especially for taking portraits.
Arrowtown, one of my favorite places in the South Island.nice video man.
How does it hold up against the sigma and sony? I thought it was a manual lens when I saw the price.
It's about 80% as good from what I've seen, however for a fraction of the price most people wouldn't notice the differences between them.
