Just got to the fluting step on the VS... had to sit there for a second and try to figure out WTF fluting is after reading section 5.13 a few times. Watched this and it makes a lot more sense! Of course I don't have any fluting pliers... god bless Amazon prime!
I don't know what it is about IT people, but I love tedium. It's very zen and calming. I built a Pitts Model 12 air-frame. Sold it, but I'm now leaning toward the RV 14a instead of the 7-A
I do love tedium but I'm not a true engineer at heart. Trying to achieve 100% is a waste of time. Its like Formula 1. You get to the point where an extra 1mph costs $1M. I work like I'm trying to achieve 100% but when I get to about 92% I stop cold and move on. I'm a student of the TLAR school of well... everything.

The protective coating didn’t get wrapped up in your drill bit? What a deburring? When you deburred was coating a problem?
